Best Prop Bets Sunday week 2 2021

My Thursday night debut was not great but that's ok because I'll get it back on Sunday. When you've got a slate like this one, you have to feel really good about catching back up. There are a few two unit bets floating out there for the Sunday slate. If you've got questions heading into the one o'clock games, please tweet me @Drew_Phelps83.

9/19/21 WEEK 2 SUNDAY SLATE OF PROPS

SAINTS @ PANTHERS

ALVIN KAMARA OVER 41.5 RECEIVING YARDS -110 (1 Unit)

Last week was an anomaly because of all the short fields that the Packers gave the Saints. There was no room to operate for Alvin. That gets correct in Carolina.

BENGALS @ BEARS

JOE MIXON OVER 17.5 RUSH ATTEMPTS -110 (1 Unit)

The guy had 29 carries in their Week 1 victory over the Vikings. I'm not saying he'll get 29 again but I can't see him getting less than 20.

COLE KMET OVER 3.5 RECEPTIONS +100 (1 Unit)

He had 5 catches on 7 targets in Week 1 against a very good Rams defense. He's definitely earned some love from Andy Dalton.

TEXANS @ BROWNS

NICK CHUBB OVER 86.5 RUSHING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

There is a chance that Chubb gets to this number in the first half. Yea, I know he splits time with Hunt but he's the best pure runner in the league with a terrific offensive line in front of him. I think he gets up over 100 without a problem.

KAREEM HUNT OVER 16.5 RECEIVING YARDS -110 (1 Unit)

He had 3 catches for 28 yards against the Chiefs in Week 1. He also like his over 2.5 Catches in this game. He's the pass catching back.

BRANDIN COOKS OVER 60.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 UNIT)

He is the only real viable weapon in the Texans wide receiving core. He had 5 catches for 132 yards in Week 1, don't you think he can get half that in Week 2?

RAMS @ COLTS

CARSON WENTZ OVER 12.5 RUSHING YARDS -120 (1 Unit)

He ran the ball 4 times for 23 yards in Week 1 against the Seahawks. He gets Aaron Donald and that Rams front line in Week 2 and I think he'll be running around a lot.

JONATHAN TAYLOR OVER 15.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

Last year the Colts really frustrated me with his inconsistency with receiving yards but if last week was any indication of what we'll get in 2021, I'm all in. He had 6 catches of 7 targets for 60 yards. I also like his over 2.5 receptions at +115.

BRONCOS @ JAGUARS

JAGUARS UNDER 19.5 TEAM TOTAL POINTS -110 (1 Unit)

The Broncos are going to be one of the nastiest defenses in the league. They are going to have their way with the Jaguars in this one. Jacksonville is all over the place from their coach to the offensive line problems. Easy bet here!

TREVOR LAWRENCE UNDER 12.5 RUSHING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

He is a mobile quarterback but that's his last resort. He likes to sit in the pocket and deliver the ball. He is going to have Von Miller and Bradley Chubb barreling down on him all day. He had just one rush for -2 yards last week against a weaker Texans defense.

K.J. HAMLER OVER 35.5 RECEIVING YARDS -120 (1 UNIT)

The NFL is a next man up league and with Jerry Jeudy out of the mix, in steps KJ Hamler. Tim Patrick will get some love as well but this number is just too low. Last week he had 41 receiving yards with Jeudy in the lineup. He's also the deep threat, so he could get this number on one catch.

BILLS @ DOLPHINS

MYLES GASKIN OVER 3.5 RECEPTIONS +125 (1 Unit)

I don't understand this number. He caught all five of his targets in Week 1 against the Patriots. Myles proved to us that he's going to be the lead back in this offense with a little mix of Salvon Ahmed and Malcolm Brown. I love the plus odds here.

COLE BEASLEY OVER 4.5 RECEPTIONS -125 (2 Units)

My first two unit bet of the week and there's good reason for it. Beasley had 13 targets, yes 13 targets in Week 1 against the Steelers. He caught 8 of those 13 targets for 60 yards. Love him or hate him, Beasley is Josh Allen's go to guy especially when all the attention goes to Stefon Diggs.

PATRIOTS @ JETS

JAMES WHITE OVER 3.5 RECEPTIONS +105 (1 Unit)

This is another line I just don't understand. He had 7 targets which resulted in 6 catches in the Patriots Week 1 loss to the Dolphins. Mac Jones has already found his favorite check down target.

49ERS @ EAGLES

JALEN HURTS OVER 16.5 LONGEST RUSH -105 (1 Unit)

He will be forced to run a lot in this game with that 49ers defensive line led by Nick Bosa. I think he breaks at least one off for over 16 yards. He ran 7 times for 62 yards in Week 1 against the Falcons.

DEVONTA SMITH OVER 48.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

The rookie made his presence known in Week 1 with 6 catches for 71 yards and a touchdown. Hurts already has eyes for him with 8 targets in his NFL debut. The 49ers secondary is a weakness and should have no problems getting over 48 yards in Week 2.

RAIDERS @ STEELERS

DANIEL CARLSON OVER 1.5 FIELD GOALS MADE +100 (1 Unit)

Yes, I'm even throwing in a kicking prop. Carlson hit this number in Week 1 against the Ravens in that thrilling overtime win. I feel like they will be able to move the ball on the Steelers tomorrow but will be held short of the goal line a few times.

CHASE CLAYPOOL OVER 47.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

This number just seems way too low for the second year wide out from Notre Dame. He's a big play down field receiver and one play could get this number. Not much analysis to this one besides I love the really low number for his upside.

VIKINGS @ CARDINALS

CARDINALS -4 -110 (1 Units)

KIRK COUSINS OVER 33.5 PASS ATTEMPTS -120 (2 Units)

It's my second 2 unit bet of the article. I just don't see how this one doesn't hit. The Cardinals will get out to a lead which will force Kirk Cousins to throw the ball. Even if it is a close game like it was last week against the Bengals, he still threw the ball 49 times. Lock this one up.

FALCONS @ BUCCANEERS

RUSSELL GAGE UNDER 41.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

He was one of my biggest disappointments last weekend. I really thought he's step in and be that number two receiver next to Calvin Ridley. He had just two targets for zero catches and zero yards. That was against a weaker Eagles secondary, now he gets the Buccaneers. I just don't see him getting this number and Vegas doesn't either because the number is dropping.

MIKE EVANS ANY TIME TOUCHDOWN +125 (1 Unit)

This is a gut feeling bet. It always seems like when we count out Mike Evans, that's when he comes back and has 135 yards and three touchdowns. The Bucs will be toying with the Falcons by the end of this game.

COWBOYS @ CHARGERS

DAK PRESCOTT OVER 26.5 PASSING COMPLETIONS -105 (2 Unit)

We all thought that Dak would be eased in a bit after his training camp shoulder injury but we were all wrong. He threw the ball 58 times against the Buccaneers in Week 1 and completed 42 of those passes. This game will be a shoot-out and that's why I'm putting two units on this one.

TONY POLLARD OVER 13.5 RECEIVING YARDS -120 (1 Unit)

You could tell after Week 1 that the Cowboys are making it a point to get the young back out of Memphis move involved in the offense. He had 4 catches for 29 yards in Week 1 against the Buccaneers and I don't think that was a mirage. I also love his OVER 1.5 receptions line but it's at -180, so I'd parlay that with another line you really like but has major juice.

MIKE WILLIAMS OVER 57.5 RECEIVING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

JALEN GUYTON OVER 27.5 RECEIVING YARDS -110 (1 Unit)

I paired these two together because I like them for the same reasons. I think Justin Herbert throws all over the yard against Dallas and these two could have field days. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Williams but Guyton had 3 catches for 49 yards in a Week 1 win against the Washington Football team.

TITANS @ SEAHAWKS

DK METCALF OVER 25.5 LONGEST RECEPTION -115 (1 Unit)

He had a slow start to the season with 4 catches for just 60 yards in Week 1 against the Colts. You gotta feel it, that this could be one of those blow up games for DK especially after Tyler Lockett had a huge day against the Colts.

CHIEFS @ RAVENS

PATRICK MAHOMES OVER 315.5 PASSING YARDS -115 (1 Unit)

Normally I would not touch a number this high but when you look at Mahomes' record against the Ravens, it's actually low. He had owned the Ravens secondary over the last few years and I don't see that changing in Week 2.

TYREEK HILL OVER 27.5 LONGEST RECEPTION -110 (1 Unit)

This should be a lock button beat every week that the number is under 30 yards. Hill is a game breaking play every time he touches the ball. He had two plays over this number in Week 1 and we saw the Ravens secondary struggle against Derek Carr and the Raiders.
