DIEHARDS SUNDAY PROP BETS week 18 2022

DIEHARDS - WEEK 18 SUNDAY SLATE
Drew Phelps, FootballDiehards.com
SINGLE PROP SEASON RECORD: 288-286
SGP SPECIAL SEASON RECORD: 5-15
RAVENS @ BENGALS (1:00p ET)
BENGALS WR JA'MARR CHASE OVER 6.5 RECEPTIONS (+105)
The Bengals have something to play for on Sunday against the Ravens. If they lose this game, they could actually go on the road in the playoffs despite winning the division. They also still have a chance at the two seed in the AFC with a win and a Bills loss. Ja'Marr is the man and Joe Burrow knows it. He has been over this reception prop in seven straight games. Chase has had double digit targets in six of those seven games.
PATRIOTS @ BILLS (1:00p ET)
BILLS WR STEFON DIGGS OVER 74.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-120)
I feel bad for the Patriots this weekend. They are going to have to face the brunt of an inspired Bills team. They are going to do everything they can to win this game for Damar Hamlin. The Patriots allow 153 yards per game through the air to the wide receiver position. Diggs had 92 yards on nine catches against this Patriots team a few weeks ago. This game could get out of hand fast.
VIKINGS @ BEARS (1:00p ET)
There are only TD scoring, defensive, and special teams props available for this game because of all the people who won't be playing. There are questions about who the Vikings will be playing in this game because they are basically locked into their spot in the playoffs. So, no props for this game.
PATRIOTS @ BILLS (1:00p ET)
BROWNS RB NICK CHUBB OVER 70.5 RUSHING YARDS (-145)
I do not understand why the Nick Chubb rushing prop is always in the 70s. He has been at 80 or more yards in five of his last six games. The Browns are still a run first team even with Deshaun Watson under center. I actually think the threat of Watson has helped him since he joined the starting lineup. The Steelers are solid against the run but allow 90 yards per game to the running back.
JETS @ DOLPHINS (1:00p ET)
JETS WR GARRETT WILSON OVER 54.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-115)
Joe Flacco is running the Jets offense on Sunday and I actually think that's a good thing for Garrett Wilson. He can get the ball out and into the hands of his best weapons like Wilson. The Dolphins allow 155 yards per game through the air which bodes well for them. In their last two games playing together, Garrett went over this prop number in both games.
JETS TE TYLER CONKLIN OVER 26.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-115)
I like this prop for similar reasons to the Garrett Wilson one. Joe Flacco will help him. In their two games played together, he went over this receiving prop in both of them. Even with all the changes at quarterback over the last month, Conklin has been over this number in three of their last four games.
BUCCANEERS @ FALCONS (1:00p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
PANTHERS @ SAINTS (1:00p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
TEXANS @ COLTS (1:00p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
COWBOYS @ COMMANDERS (4:25p ET)
COWBOYS WR CEEDEE LAMB OVER 65.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-115)
No one can stop CeeDee Lamb right now and definitely not the Commanders secondary. He has been over 100 yards receiving in three straight games. Lamb has been over this prop number in his last two games against the Washington football franchise. Washington allows 152 yards per game through the air.
COMMANDERS RB JONATHAN WILLIAMS OVER 56.5 RUSHING YARDS (-115)
The Commanders will start their rookie quarterback Sam Howell on Sunday against the Cowboys. They will also start Jonathan Williams at running back with both Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson out of the lineup. The way to beat the Cowboys defense is to establish a run game and short quick passes to avoid that pass rush. I feel like the Commanders will do both of those things especially working that run game. Williams will get plenty of looks on Sunday and this seems like a reasonable number to reach.
GIANTS @ EAGLES (4:25p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
CARDINALS @ 49ERS (4:25p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
RAMS @ SEAHAWKS (4:25p ET)
RAMS RB CAM AKERS OVER 71.5 RUSHING YARDS (-120)
It is really interesting what has happened with Cam Akers in Los Angeles. He went from a split backfield to being benched to being the man once again. Akers has put on a show the last two weeks with over 100 yards rushing in each game. The Seahawks allow 115 yards per game on the ground to the running back position. Baker leans on the running back which sets up the passing game.
RAMS TE TYLER HIGBEE OVER 32.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-120)
He failed in a big way for us last week against the Chargers. It was a real shame after such an incredible performance against the Broncos the week prior. The Seahawks are one of the worst teams in the league against the tight end position. If you look over the game log, tight ends have had a field day against this defense. This has basically been a free square each week.
CHARGERS @ BRONCOS (4:25p ET)
There are only basically TD scoring props available right now because of all the question marks around this game. So, no props for this game.
