Injuries and Waiver Wire Week 17

Trevor Lawrence - Jaguars QB Lawrence left Sunday’s game due to a shoulder injury. Backup QB CJ Beathard replaced him.

Raheem Mostert - Dolphins RB Mostert was injured on a play in which his own teammate fell on top of him. He was able to return later in the game.

Jordan Addison - Vikings WR Addison suffered an ankle injury during the first half of Sunday’s game vs the Lions. He was unable to return.

Robbie Chosen - Dolphins WR Chosen suffered a concussion during Sunday’s game. He will need to pass through the NFL’s concussion protocol.

D.J. Moore - Bears WR Moore was injured during the first half of Sunday’s game vs the Cardinals. Moore finished the game.

Jaylen Waddle - Dolphins WR Waddle suffered an eye injury in the first half of Sunday’s game, but was able to return. Waddle did suffer a second shin injury in the second-half, though.

Dontayvion Wicks - Packers rookie WR Wicks suffered a chest injury and could not return.

T.J. Hockenson - Vikings TE Hockenson suffered a knee injury and could not return vs the Lions.

Jeremy Ruckert - Jets TE Ruckert suffered a concussion vs the Commanders. He will need to pass through the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Joe Flacco - Browns QB Joe Flacco has passed for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in each of his last three games. It is worth noting that these huge yardage games come with interceptions, as he threw three interceptions last week, and two interceptions this week. Flacco faces off against one of his old teams, the Jets in week 17. If you’re in need of a QB, Flacco is a solid streaming option.

Also consider:

Jake Browning

Khali Herbert - Bears RB Khalil Herbert carried the load this week, with RB D'Onta Foreman injured. Herbert rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown. He’s available in 55 percent of NFL Fantasy leagues. If you’re in need of a flex option at RB, look into adding Herbert.

Zamir White - Raiders RB Zamir White filled in for the injured Josh Jacobs last week. In that game, he had 17.50 fantasy points, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown. He has yet to play in week 16, but remains a top waiver-wire target while Jacobs is sidelined.

Tyjae Spears, Tyler Allgeier

Romeo Doubs - The Packers have been dealing with numerous injuries on their receiver corps, with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks all currently injured. Doubs stepped up this week, scoring a touchdown, and hauling in 79 yards. Doubs has been inconsistent this year, but with the state of the Packers receivers and them still being only one game out of the NFC wild card hunt, Doubs can contribute to fantasy rosters as a flex option during the fantasy playoffs.

Josh Palmer - Someone has to catch passes in Los Angeles for the Chargers, right? With Keenan Allen missing the last two games, and Mike Williams on IR, Palmer is the top remaining receiver for the Chargers. Palmer scored 21.30 fantasy points last week, and followed it up with 9.70 fantasy points in week 16. He is probably a low-end flex option, given the fact that the Chargers are starting their backup QB right now, but Palmer should receive plenty of targets.

Demarcus Robinson - Over the last four weeks, Rams WR Demarcus Robinson has been on an absolute tear. Since week 13, Robinson has scored at least 13.40 fantasy points in every game. In each contest, he’s scored a TD in every game and has had at least 40 receiving yards. Keep in mind, Demarcus Robinson is a veteran who has let us down many times before, so at any point, this hot-streak could come to a screeching halt. Robinson is someone to add in deeper leagues.

Also Consider:

Tyler Boyd, Curtis Samuel

Isaiah Likely - Somehow still available in 70 percent of NFL Fantasy leagues is Ravens TE Isaiah Likely. He is yet again our top option at the TE position. Over his last two weeks, Likely has scored 19.30 and 18.00 fantasy points. He has been filling in for the injured Mark Andrews, who remains sidelined.
