Best Prop Bets Monday NT week 2 2021

It's been an up and down first week for me.  I went 0-5 on Thursday but bounced back a bit on Sunday going 15-14 for the day.  There will be peaks and there will be valleys this season but my goal is to finish with a 60 percent win percentage by the end of the season.  You will be surprised how much I like the Lions props in this game.  It's really hard to judge the Packers after their Week 1 performance against the Saints.

If you've got questions heading into the one o'clock games, please tweet me @Drew_Phelps83.

9/20/21 WEEK 2 MONDAY SLATE OF PROPS

LIONS @ PACKERS

T.J. Hockenson ANY TIME TD +220 (1 Unit)

T.J. Hockenson OVER 53.5 Receiving Yards -110 (1 Unit)

Most everyone knew how much  Jared Goff would have eyes for Hockenson before the season started.  In their first game together, T.J. had 10 targets which resulted in 8 catches for 97 yards.  Most thought the Lions would grind it out on the ground team but Goff threw the ball 57 times in Week 1 against the 49ers.    Hockenson will be the main focal point of that passing attack.

Jared Goff OVER 1.5 Passing TDs +115 (1 Unit)

I just spoke about how much the Lions passed the ball with Jared Goff as they trailed big time to the San Francisco 49ers.  I think there will be a similar game script tonight.  The Packers will get off to an early lead and the Lions will be forced to play catch up the entire second half.  That means Goff throws it all over the yard and probably throws a couple garbage time TDs.

D'Andre Swift OVER 4.5 Receptions +115 (1 Unit)

I thought T.J. Hockenson would have led the Lions in targets but it was D'Andre Swift in Week 1 against the 49ers.  Swift had 11 targets which resulted in 8 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.  He is going to be used all over the formation and that's why I love this prop line for Swift especially getting plus odds.

Davante Adams OVER 87.5 Receiving Yards -115 (1 Unit)

There isn't much more I can say against Davante Adams.  He's a Top 3 wide receiver in the league and has a special connection with Aaron Rodgers.  We saw Deebo Samuel go off against this Lions secondary in Week 1 and Adams is a superior weapon.  This is a big number but there are very few wide outs I'd trust to go over this number and he's one of them.

Aaron Jones OVER 17.5 Receiving Yards -115 (1 Unit)

Even in a terrible effort by the Packers offense, Aaron Jones still managed to get 2 catches for 13 yards.  I expect much better from the running back tonight against the Lions.  He's a phenomenal pass catcher and trusted safety valve of Aaron Rodgers, this number could easily be reached in one catch.
