Week 2 Main slate (13 Games)

Quarterbacks

Case Keenum vs. Raiders ($5,800)
Case Keenum was NOT John Elway in his debut with the Broncos but it doesn’t matter in Fantasy Land. He completed 25 of 39 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns. We have seen Keenum perform well when he is surrounded with talent. Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas are one of the best receiving tandems in the NFL which makes Keenum’s job easier week to week. There is a level of uncertainty in the Broncos backfield at the moment which may lead to Keenum throwing more than he wants to. He’ll get a Raiders team at home that Jared Goff was very efficient against a week ago. Keenum can be used in cash games and tournaments.

Tyrod Taylor @ Saints ($5,900)
The weather was less than ideal at home week one against the Steelers but Tyrod Taylor still managed to put up fantasy numbers. The Browns have weapons galore on offense and Taylor will get to feature them without weather concerns week two on the road at New Orleans. The Saints are coming off an embarrassing home loss against Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers. The Browns are big under dogs and that could lead to Taylor working more than he probably wants to. Taylor is a dual threat and his legs are the differentiator. There wont be many games where Taylor will hurt us and this looks like a game where some fireworks could fly. Taylor is another player that can be used in cash games and in tournaments based on what Ryan Fitzpatrick pulled off week one.

Bonus: Matt Ryan vs. Panthers ($5,700)

Running backs

Austin Ekeler @ Bills ($4,400)
The Chargers have their new version of Danny Woodhead with Austin Ekeler. Ekeler caught all five targets week 1 for 87 yards and a touchdown. The change of pace back should be a fixture in the Chargers passing attack particularly if they are trailing and if something were to happen to Melvin Gordon his role would dramatically expand. The satellite back is a tournament play in the same range as Isaiah Crowell and James White. I like all three in that price range.

James White @ Jaguars ($4,500)
The only piece of stability outside of Rob Gronkowski in the Patriots offense appears to be James White. White caught 4-of-9 passes for 38 yards and a touchdown against the Texans week 1. With Sony Michel hurt, Jeremy Hill done for the season and Rex Burkhead concussed, the running game appears to be thin. His floor appears to be safe and makes a fine discounted RB for us to create cap space. It is not going to be an easy task for the Patriots against the Jaguars but White has a defined role on a Tom Brady offense.

Bonus: Isaiah Crowell vs. Dolphins ($4,600) Jalen Richard @ Broncos ($3,400)

Wide receivers

Randall Cobb vs. Vikings ($4,600)
Randall Cobb hauled in 9-out-10 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown week 1 against the Bears. Rodgers and Cobb have a clear rapport that dates back to 2011. Cobb out targeted Davante Adams in the win. He also fielded four punts which we can gain points if he takes one to the house. Cobb will be an integral part of a high octane, Aaron Rodgers led offense in 2018. Get him now while he is beyond affordable. Tough to imagine Cobb isnt targeted 8-10 times week 2. He can-be used in both cash games and tournaments.

Quincy Enunwa vs. Dolphins ($4,700)
It’s good to see Quincy Enunwa healthy. A big bodied slot guy that can make an inexperienced quarterback look good. Week 1 Enunwa caught 6-of-10 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown. He could be Sam Darnolds go-to wideout. It’s too early to tell about a rapport but we like to see them start fo build early on. I like Enunwa in GPP’s.

Bonus: Devin Funchess @ Falcons ($4,700)

Tight Ends

Jared Cook @ Broncos ($3,600)
Jared Cook went bananas week 1 against his former team catching 9-of-12 targets for 180 yards. He finished 2017 as a Top-12 Fantasy tight end in PPR formats. The way Derek Carr looked, it would be no surprise to see Cook be a safety valve for Carr to look at in the middle of the field. The Raiders are going to be down often this season and Cook should be peppered with targets. The Broncos had issues with rookie Will Dissly week 1 allowing the tight end to go over 100 yards. Cook can be used in cash games and tournaments

George Kittle vs. Lions ($3,800)
George Kittle caught 5-of-9 targets week one against the Vikings on the road. He was easily Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite target. Kittle ranked 10th in yards per target a season ago (8.2). He’ll get a Lions team that looked lost week one against the Jets. The Forty Niners lack weaponry especially if Marquise Goodwin is unable to play. Kittle can be used in cash games and tournaments.

Bonus: Jonnu Smith vs. Texans ($3,100)

Defense/Special Teams

Jets vs. Dolphins ($2,500)
The Jets picked off Matthew Stafford five times week one and had two defensive touchdowns. They’ll get a lot less offensively talented Dolphins at hone in East Rutherford. They are too cheap to pass up.

Bonus: Redskins vs. Colts ($2,700)
