Digging In The Crates Week 18
(DraftKings Main Slate)

Week 18

Quarterbacks

Taysom Hill @ Falcons ($6,200)

Taysom Hill will get a Falcons defense Week 18 that has struggled in every area that he thrives in. Atlanta has allowed the third-most rushing yards from quarterbacks in the NFL (413), are tied for the 7th-highest number of rushing touchdowns allowed (4) and have given up the most rushing attempts for the position. Hill’s ability to rush is the bonus we want in fantasy land. Using Hill with Alvin Kamara creates a unique stack for tournaments.

Tyler Huntley vs. Steelers ($5,700)

Tyler Huntley will be starting week 18 against the Steelers as he continues to audition for a starting role in the NFL. Like Taysom Hill, Huntley’s rushing ability will be the fantasy bonus for DFS purposes. It was week 15 against the Packers when Huntley went bananas against a stingy Packers defense tallying 35.9 DK points. Pairing Him with Hollywood Brown who he targeted 14 times week 15 will make an affordable, upside stack Sunday.

Running Backs

Sony Michel vs. 49ers ($6,000)

Matthew Stafford has praised the addition of Sony Michel recently, who has obtained a major role in the Rams offense as they head into the Playoffs. Michel has had at-least 20 touches in five straight games. The 49ers have been stingy against the run, but Stafford can push the ball up the field as well an anyone. Thus, setting up Sony for a couple TD plunges. We’re getting volume on the cheap here and his ownership should be low.

Devin Singletary vs. Jets ($6,000)

Alas! The Bills have decided to consistency use a running back and it’s worked out well in the attempt for offensive balance. Devin Singletary has 20 or more touches, in his last two of three games with four touchdowns. The Bills will get a leaky Jets run defense Week 18. Singletary has set career-highs in rushing attempts (169), rushing yards (782), and rushing touchdowns (6) this season.

Wide Receivers

Cyril Grayson vs. Panthers ($4,400)

Cyril Grayson has turned 11 targets into nine catches, 162 yards and a score over the past two games and it’s been needed. Chris Godwin is done for the season, Mike Evans has been hobbled, and Antonio Brown is on another planet. Tom Brady could be leaning heavily on Grayson in the weeks to come. Week 18 he’ll get a Carolina secondary that’s banged up and allowed the ninth-most PPR points per game.

Amon Ra-St.Brown vs. Packers ($6,800)

Shout out to Amon-Ra St. Brown for coming on the scene harrrdd the past five weeks of the NFL season. He’s made the best of a putrid situation in Detroit and will face a Packers team that has allowed nine receivers to score at least 12 PPR points in their past six games, including 10 touchdowns over that span. The 2021 fourth round pick has become a gem and his 2022 ADP will reflect that. He’s had at least 11 targets in five straight games.

Tight Ends

Zach Ertz vs. Seahawks ($5,300)

Zach Ertz has found a home inArizona and a clear rapport with Kyler Murray. The absence of DeAndre Hopkins is opening up usage as Ertz has caught 26 passes over his last four games despite zero touchdowns. Ertz will face a Seahawks defense that has allowed ten touchdowns to Tight Ends in 2021. If we’re not paying up for Mark Andrews or George Kittle, then Ertz is a fine play in all formats.

Cole kmet @ Vikings ($3,400)

Week 18 is the time for Cole Kmet to score a touchdown for the first time this season. The position is weak, and we often punt it. Doing so on the cheap is often a tactic to afford luxuries in other areas of our roster. Kmet has his best game of the season week 15 against the Vikings, catching 6-of-9 targets for 71 yards. Andy Dalton has favored Kmet this season as his safety blanket.

Defense/Special Teams

49ers @ Rams ($2,900)
