Week 4

(DraftKings Main Slate)

Quarterbacks

Marcus Mariota vs. Browns ($5,600)

Say what you want about Marcus Mariota, but the guy is a seasoned NFL veteran with a stable fantasy floor, and a yet to be see ceiling in 2022. His rushing equity is an obvious plus. Drake London has stepped in immediately as Mariota’s top pass catcher, and finally, Kyle Pitts has arrived in 2022. If we’re paying down at QB, Mariota is my guy. Maybe we can get a ceiling game against the middle of the road Browns pass defense at home.

Jared Goff vs. Seahawks ($5,900)

Dont look now but Jared Goff is a viable Fantasy QB. It makes sense given the negative game scripts, while the Lions play catch up every week. Like Mariota, he’s been conservative and practically turn over free. Goff will likely be without D’Andre Swift, Amon Ra St. Brown, and T.J. Hockenson forcing him to utilize his secondary weapons. Jamaal Williams is a viable replacement who is reliable in the passing game. DJ Chark will firmly be in play if he’s healthy enough to go. The Seahawks are 31st in pass DVOA.

Running Backs

Khalil Herbert @ Giants ($5,700)

The Bears will be without David Montgomery Week 4 , opening up another start for Khalil Herbert who had 22 touches, for 169 yards, and two touchdowns a week ago. He had the most Rushing Yards Over Expected (RYOE) with 81 and led all backs with a 70% Rush Pct Over Expected (ROE) rate (Yahoo). With Justin Fields limited in the passing game, expect Herbert to have receptions as well. He’ll be popular, and for good reason.

Devin Singletary @ Ravens ($5,900)

I think the Bills have finally realized they having a running game outside of Josh Allen. Devin Singletary has 13 receptions over the first three weeks. The Bills have been exploiting defenses underneath as much of the attention goes to Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. So long as Singletary continues to pass protect, he’ll be on the field. The Bills will get a Ravens defense that has holes all over it. Sign me up for some cheap Bills offensive exposure.

Wide Receivers

Mack Collins vs. Broncos ($4,200)

Mack Who? Mack Collins tied Davante Adams with targets week 3 in the absence of Hunter Renfrow. In the past two weeks, he has had 224 receiving yards and a touchdown on 13 receptions on 18 targets. He’s lived on the field (85+%) of snaps, and if Renfrow is unable go sunday, i’ll be on board the Hollins wagon. With Davante Adams at Derek Carr’s disposal, Hollins could eat all season even with Hunter Renfrow healthy.

Romeo Doubs vs. Patriots ($4,500)

We MAY just have a replacement for Davante Adams this season in Green Bay. Let’s be realistic, he’s irreplaceable. However, Romeo Doubs looks the part after catching 8-of-8 targets from Aaron Rodgers Week 3, for 73 yards, and a touchdown. Just like that Doubs is a Rookie Of The Year favorite. Be leads the Pack in receptions, and yards. His work will be cut out for him as the Patriots come to town, but this price is too good. Im in.

Tight Ends

David Njoku @ Falcons ($3,700)

Better late than never for David Njoku blossoming into Fantasy relevance! Njoku caught 9-of-10 targets for 89 yards, and a touchdown week 3, and is likely to be a security blanket for Jacoby Brissett. He’ll get a Falcons defense that has allowed second most fantasy production to tight ends. Sign me up at this price point.

T.J. Hockenson vs. Seahawks ($4,100)

Tight End is the sea of mediocrity as i’ve mentioned on numerous occasions. It’s unstable most of the time, making it a good position to pay down at. The Lions offense is banged up, and despite the slow start, Hockenson could be leaned on heavily week 4 at home. The Seahawks are a bottom 10 team against tight ends so far this season. His floor is safe, the ceiling is “elite”, and the price is perfect. I’ll be using Hockenson in my Goff stacks.

Defense/Special Teams

Bills @ Ravens ($3,200)
