Week 10

(DraftKings Main Slate)

Quarterbacks

Justin Fields vs. Lions ($6,500)

We are going right back to Justin Fields this week as he has been the top Fantasy Quarterback over the last four weeks. Fields has now shown us Lamar Jackson upside, and we’re still getting him at a discount. Week 9 Fields rushed for 178 yards against the Dolphins, and there is no telling what he could do to the Lions at home this week. The Lions have allowed the third most fantasy points to Quarterbacks so far this season. Sign me up, again.z

Trevor Lawrence @ Chiefs ($5,400)

We have yet to see an “upside” game from Trevor Lawrence this season, but he has been OK. He has also provided us with a little rushing equity. The transition to the NFL takes time, as does the comfortability. Both, come with on the job training. The negative game script at Arrowhead stadium week 10 will force Lawrence to sling the rock all afternoon, as the Jaguars chase Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Pairing Lawrence with Christian Kirk makes plenty of sense on the cheap.

Running Backs

Travis Etienne @ Chiefs ($7,100)

I know. Travis Etienne is not priced in the Crate range. However, it’s not easy this week to advocate for any running back below him. We will be forced to spend here. Travis Etienne has been a work load monster since the departure of James Robinson, and a safety valve for Trevor Lawrence to check down to. Etienne has averaged 27 Fantasy Points per game over his last three contests, and will be a nice piece to play with Trevor Lawrence this week in a game stack. His usage is through the roof, and that is exactly what we want.

Tony Pollard @ Packers ($6,500)

The Cowboys are taking a cautious approach with Ezekiel Elliott’s knee, and Tony Pollard is the clear beneficiary in the mean time, and beyond. Prior to the Bye Week, Pollard went off against the Bears with 37 Fantasy Points, on just 15 touches. Pollard and the Cowboys will get a Packers run defense that is allowing 138 yards on the ground to opposing running backs (26th). Even if Zeke does suit up, Pollard is going to be on the majority of my DFS teams week 10.

Wide Receivers

JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. Jaguars ($6,000)

It hasn’t mattered much to Patrick Mahomes that Tyreek Hill is gone, and he’s had to use a different crowd to get familiar with. Mecole Hardman is questionable, and JuJu Smith Schuster is coming off of a ten reception Week 9. JuJu is fourth in the league in terms of YAC, and has developed the trust of Patrick Mahomes. Those are the kind of variables that we want. Especially at a discount. Having pieces of this game will be a recipe for fantasy success week 10.

Jerry Jeudy @ Titans ($5,700)

It has been an interesting season so far in Denver for Russell Wilson to say the least. At first, Courtland Sutton looked like the alpha at wide receiver. The last two weeks Jeudy has caught 13-of-18 passes for 159 yards. The Titans pass defense have gotten Shredded through the air all season. The ceiling game is coming, and against the Titans is the right spot.

Tight Ends

Cole Kmet vs. Lions ($3,400)

Cole Kmet had a career day week 9 against the Dolphins catching 5-of-6 targets for 41 yards, and two touchdowns. It is evident that when Justin Fields is not scrambling, he’ll be using his bodied tight end in the Red Zone. A Fields-Kmet stack is a beautiful stack again this week.

Greg Dulcich @ Titans ($3,400)

We could all use a little Greg Dulcich in our lives. If we like to dive in seas of mediocrity of course. Jokes aside, Dulcich has been efficient over the last three weeks, catching 12-of-17 targets. I think Dulcich is a strong pivot off of Cole Kmet, and Russell Wilson is a sneaky play against the Titans. My rule of thumb goes as follows: If I am not paying for Travis Kelce, I punt.

Defense/Special Teams

Cardinals @ Rams ($2,700)
