Greg Dulcich 2023 Outlook
A third-round pick in 2022, Dulcich emerged as a passing game threat and proved he was much more than just a sweet salad. He finished third on the team in receptions and caught two TD passes even though he missed seven games due to injury. And that was before becoming a big off-season winner when the Broncos brought in Sean Payton. Payton’s offense focuses inside-out, and he’s already mentioned the capability of Dulcich as a multiple-position option, meaning he’ll line up as a traditional tight end, H-back and split wide or in the slot depending on the formation. Payton can be counted on to get the ball to his tight ends in the red zone, but he’s also a sure thing for making a heavy commitment to the running game to benefit the redemption plan for Russell Wilson. That’s welcome news for Dulcich owners in fantasy leagues and even PPR formats. Defenses presented a pick-your-poison coverage plan will first defend the deep third and contain speed threats, which will again include No. 3 receiver Tim Patrick (torn ACL in 2022).
