DraftKings (Main Slate)

 

Quarterbacks

Derek Carr @ Falcons ($5,700)

Derek Carr may be the most popular Crate QB so far this season. He’s been more than efficient throwing 19 touchdowns, and just THREE interceptions. The Raiders are going to run a ton, but Carr will sling when he faces a secondary as bad as the Falcons, whom he’ll get on the road week 12. The Falcons are ranked 31st in the NFL allowing over 300 yards per game. Pairing Carr with Darren Waller or Nelson Agholor makes plenty of sense based on the price and match up.

Daniel Jones @ Bengals ($5,500)
Daniel Jones and the Giants will head to Cincinnati week 12 to face a bottom 10 Bengals pass defense. This game has sneaky shoot out potential, and using Jones with Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, or Evan Engram provides a cheap stack in a variety of combinations. Jones also provides us with week to week rushing equity. With a Joe Burrow-less Bengals offense, the Giants could spend more time on offense which will translate to the fantasy points we yearn.

Running Backs

Wayne Gallman @ Bengals ($5,000)

The Giants have become near helpless on offense without Saquon Barkley, but Wayne Gallman has been efficient in his absence. Gallman has scored five touchdowns over the last four weeks with limited volume, but appears to have the lead role with Devonta Freeman sidelined. Stacking Gallman with Daniel Jones, and a pass catcher is a unique stack for large tournaments. Volume on the cheap is what I crave, especially in a defined role. I’ll have Gallman to free up lineup cap space week 12 while using some Bengals run-backs.

James White vs. Cardinals ($4,500)

Speaking of defined roles, James White is THE Patriots pass catching back, especially with Rex Burkhead now out for the season. White was targeted NINE times week 11 on the road at Houston. White has yet to score a touchdown, or have a ceiling game so far in 2020, but a potential track meet against the fast paced Cardinals may be what the doctor ordered. White has been an RB1 in PPR formats in back to back seasons, so the upside and much needed stability is needed on a new look, Vanilla, Patriots offense. He’s a last piece, safe floor, salary saver with upside on DraftKings week 12.

Wide Receivers

Tyler Boyd vs. Giants ($5,000)

Tyler Boyd is at his cheapest salary week 12 against the Giants in a game that I am starting to like from a fantasy angle. His salary is depreciated because of the QB downgrade, and it may be justified. However, Boyd is mostly an underneath route runner, that works in short spaces. His role will suit replacement Brandon Allen’s inexperience. Allen HAS to be an upgrade from what we saw from back up Ryan Finley. I anticipate Boyd to hit value week 12 and i’ll be using him in plenty of lineups. Tee Higgins is just $4,700. It makes plenty of sense to use them both in different tournaments based on their upside and price.

Curtis Samuel @ Vikings ($5,100)

When will Curtis Samuel start getting some fantasy respect? He’s gotten at least 21 fantasy points in three of the last four games. He’s turning into more than the gadget player we’ve pegged him at despite the time it’s taken. He’s setting himself up for a big contract and the timing could NOT be better. He’s a dual threat who can get us there (fantasy wise) in the running game, and passing game. He’ll get a horrendous Vikings defense week 12. Sign me up at that price and his upside. Especially with Christian McCaffrey removed from the offense.

Bonus: Michael Pittman vs. Titans ($5,000)

Tight Ends

Evan Engram @ Bengals ($4,500)

All of these cheap pieces from the Giants and Bengals game are becoming difficult to process. Engram has been targeted 32 times over the last four games, and he’ll get a Bengals defense that has allowed 583 receiving yards, with six receiving touchdowns to Tight Ends so far this season. If we aren’t paying up for Travis Kelce sunday then take a hard look at Engram alone or in a game stack.

Hunter Henry @ Bills ($4,800)

Justin Herbert has been one of the most pleasant surprises in the 2020 NFL season. It’s no surprise Keenan Allen has excelled, but slowly, Hunter Henry is holding is own. Henry has caught 8-of-13 targets over the last two weeks, with touchdowns in each game. He’ll get a Buffalo Bills team that's both third-worst in PPR points given up to tight ends and allowing the most receiving yards to the position. After Kelce and Waller it’s the sea of mediocrity is deep week 12. For my money, it’s Engram and Hunter Henry. Both can be used in cash games or tournaments.

Bonus: Austin Hooper @ Jaguars ($3,800)

Defense/Special Teams

Browns @ Jaguars ($3,100)

The Jags are 23rd in offensive drives ending in a turnover, 25th in offensive drives ending in a touchdown, and 27th in sacks allowed. They bullied the Eagles week 11, I expect the same against Jacksonville.
