Week 7

Quarterbacks

Matt Ryan @ Dolphins ($5,700)

Josh Allen, Dak Prescott and Justin Herbert are on a bye this week, and that will cut some of the high dollar out of the main slate. There are however, a handful of 7-8 K quarterbacks that people will lock in. The middle tier has Matt Ryan who is getting Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage back against a dinged Dolphins secondary. Miami has gotten gashed all season by QB’s and Ryan has averaged 25 Fantasy points over the last two weeks. Ryan could be on the Milly Maker roster week seven.

Derek Carr vs. Eagles ($6,000)

Despite the Jon Gruden drama last week in Last Vegas, Derek Carr stepped up and threw for 341 yards, with two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He’ll get an Eagles secondary this week at home that has allowed an average of 297 yards per game as visitors. Carr has put up 25 or more fantasy points in four of six games so far this season. Fire him up in cash games or tournaments.

Running Backs

J.D. McKissic @ Packers ($5,000)

Antonio Gibson exited week 6 with a calf injury and his week seven staus is up in the air. J.D. McKissic should be in line for a larger work load to pick up the slack on a banged up Washington Football Team offense. Jaret Patterson will also have an increased role as well. McKissic is the PPR guy and should be owned immediately, if he’s not already gone in your league. The negative game script will bode well in the passing game for McKissic week seven. Even if he gets 60% of the volume again this week he’ll be worth it.

Darrel Williams @ Titans ($5,800)

Darrel Williams will once again fill in for injured Clyde Edwards-Helaire week seven as he comes off of a 24 touch game against Washington. This game has the make up of a shoot out and Patrick Mahomes will spend a ton of time in the Red Zone. Williams has solid stand alone value or he can be leveraged with Tyreek Hill or Travis Kelce. His price is elevated, but he’s still firmly in play based on the matchup and volume he’ll receive.

Wide Receivers

Jaylen Waddle vs. Falcons ($5,600)

Finally Jaylen Waddle showed the world his upside, across the pond week six against the Jaguars. Waddle caught ten passes for 70 yards, and two touchdowns with Tua Tagovailoa back under center. Waddle will get a Falcons defense that has allowed the tenth most points per game to receivers. Clearly he’s Tua’s guy and the upside has already been on display.

Devonta Smith @ Raiders ($5,400)

Devonta Smith will get a Raiders defense week seven that has allowed the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers so far in 2021. Smith will eat inside against the Raiders zone coverage. Smith is on track to reach 977 yards if he continues to average 57.5 yards per game on an offense that is all over the place. The Eagles are over the toughest part of their schedule and now without Zach Ertz. I will have Devonta Smith in GPP builds with Henry Ruggs on the other side.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki vs. Falcons ($4,700)

Just like Jaylen Waddle, Mike Gesicki finds himself in a good spot week seven against a porous Falcons secondary. With six teams on a bye, Gesicki is one of the best dollar for dollar tight ends. DeVante Parker is questionable which will centralize the target share even more towards Waddle and the stud tight end. Gesicki has 16 targets over the last two weeks. His 70% catch rate is encouraging as we have seen his ability to stretch the field. Sign me up for all the Gesicki week seven.

Ricky Seals-Jones @ Packers ($3,700)

Ricky Seals-Jones has slid in nicely for Logan Thomas so far this season playing 90% of the snaps over the last two weeks. Seals-Jones caught 4-of-6 passes for 58 yards, and a touchdown week six as he crushed his price tag. His price is still depressed, and with all the injuries to Washington’s pass catchers, Seals-Jones will continue to serve as a safety blanket for the up and coming Taylor Heinicke. He’s fine in cash games or tournaments, but note that is ownership will be through the roof.

Defense/Special Teams

Cardinals vs. Texans ($3,100)
