Week 11 (DraftKings)

Main slate (11 Games)

Quarterbacks

Kyle Allen vs. Falcons ($5,300)

It almost feels as if the Cam Newton era in Carolina has come to an end. Kyle Allen has filled in nicely and has an extensive arsenal of weaponry at his disposal. He’ll get a Falcons defense week 11 that upset the Saints on the road in a shocker. Defenses are zeroing in on Christian McCaffrey and Allen has been able to use DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel and Greg Olsen as a result.

Carson Wentz vs. Patriots ($5,400)

Carson Wentz is just too cheap. Yes he’s playing the stingy Patriots and he’s also without DeSean Jackson but he’s also one of the most well rounded up and comer quarterbacks in the NFL. Wentz can get it done with his legs as well, something Lamar Jackson did to expose the Patriots a couple weeks ago. It will be no walk in the park for the Patriots defense in Philadelphia. We can justify using Carson Wentz in tournaments and cash games based on his price and ceiling.

Running backs

Brian Hill @ Panthers ($4,800)

Both Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith are out of commission week 11, making Brian Hill the lead back for the Falcons. Hill had 21 touches week 10 against a stingy Saints defense. The Panthers have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL which will give Hill a little more wiggle room. I’d expect somewhere around 20 touches again week 11. He’s a lock in cash games but he’ll probably be too highly owned in tournaments for my liking.

Kalen Ballage vs. Bills ($4,300)

It’s no time to get off Kalen Ballage yet, is it? He had 24 touches a week ago and that does not appear to be changing with Kenyan Drake relocated and Mark Walton suspended. It won’t take much for Ballage to pay off his Crate value week 1. His upside is unknown but the volume and usage will be there. Use him as a salary saver based on the volume he’s almost guaranteed to receive. Ballage is a tournament play for me week 11.

Wide receivers

Deebo Samuel vs. Cardinals ($4,000)

With the uncertainty of George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders status week 11, Deebo Samuel could be thrusted into the de facto wide receiver one against an Arizona team that gives up yards in every facet. Samuel has caught 12-of-18 targets over the last two weeks and his clear rapport with Jimmy Garoppolo is becoming evident. I’ll use him in cash games if Kittle and Sanders were to sit and he becomes a secondary/tournament play if they do play.

Dede Westbrook @ Colts ($4,500)

Nick Foles is back! For better or worse. So is Dede Westbrook. The two had formed a rapport prior to injuries and D.J. Chark became the fantasy house hold name. If he’s active we’re guaranteed nearly double digit targets and as a result we’ll be rewarded with double digit PPR fantasy points. In his first week back i’ll use him tournaments.

Tight Ends

Greg Olsen vs. Falcons ($3,900)

I love Kyle Allen this week so it’s only fair to include some of his pass catchers (obviously DJ Moore). The Falcons just allowed Jared Cook to eat week 10 and Greg Olsen can do the same at home. Olsen has 16 targets over the last two weeks and has become Kyle Allen’s safety valve. He had 8 catches for 98 yards week 10. The position is atrocious as a whole, but there are some diamonds in the rough weekly and they are not expensive. Olsen may be my cash game lock this weekend.

Kyle Rudolph vs. Broncos ($3,600)

Adam Thielen has been out, which has created more opportunities for Kyle Rudolph. Rudolph has scored three touchdowns on 10 targets over the last two weeks. Truth be told, Kyle Rudolph has been one of the best tight ends in the league over the past few years. The position is so shallow, Rudolph is making for one of the top tournament plays week 11. He’s averaged nearly 15 PPR points three out of the past four weeks.

Defense/Special Teams

Jets @ Redskins ($3,100)

The Jets are coming off a huge week 10 where they caused two fumbles and had six sacks. They’ll get rookie Dwayne Haskins week 11. Picking on the Redskins this season has been one of my favorite resources of defensive fantasy points.
