WEEK 15 NFL DRAFTKINGS DFS CASH PICKS

QUARTERBACK

Josh Allen, BUF ($8200)

Despite questions about the Bills’ offense overall, none of those concerns extend to Josh Allen who is once again the overall QB1 on the season. He’s averaging 24.7 FPPG on the season and the matchup against Dallas should not be enough to deter you. This came is tied with the highest O/U of the week at 50.5, and Josh Allen accounts for an extreme amount of his team’s TDs. He’s showing ownership even at $8200, and rightfully so.

Other options - None

Mid-tier options - Brock Purdy, Sam Howell, Jordan Love

VALUE PLAY

Matthew Stafford, LAR ($6000)

Matt Stafford is currently projecting as the highest owned QB for the main slate, and it’s pretty easy to see why. He’s got his full complement of receivers healthy (sans Tyler Higbee), and gets the nut matchup against Washington. The Commanders have been an utter sieve for passing games this year, allowing the highest YPA, most TD passes, and the second most FPPG to QBs. Stafford has been red hot as the Rams have gotten back in the playoff hunt, with 10 TD passes over the last three games while ranking QB3 overall in that span (and these have been against some tough opponents).

Other options - Joe Flacco, Davis Mills

RUNNING BACK

TOP PLAY

Christian McCaffrey, SF ($9300)

Why is McCaffrey’s price not moving? He does nothing but produce, and this week he has an insane matchup against the Cardinals. Arizona has allowed 18 all-purpose TDs to running backs, along with the second most FPPG. For another week at least, it would be utterly foolish to leave your cash lineups without CMC.

Other options - Alvin Kamara, Kyren Williams, Saquon Barkley, Rachaad White

Mid-tier options - Bijan Robinson, Tony Pollard

VALUE PLAY

Ezekiel Elliott, NE ($5800)

DraftKings apparently has no faith in Ezekiel Elliott? It’s been a full five days since he torched the Steelers on Thursday night, and Zeke’s price only rose $400 in that span. I get that the Patriots are massive underdogs against Kansas City this week, but Elliott’s eight targets seem to be proof that he’s game-script neutral on this team as long as Rhamondre Stevenson remains out. Zeke had 29 touches in Week 14, and he is not remotely priced for that kind of workload.

Other options - Chuba Hubbard, AJ Dillon, Clyde Edwards-Helaire

WIDE RECEIVER

TOP PLAY

Ceedee Lamb, DAL ($9200)

I have Ceedee Lamb as this week’s overall WR1 regardless of Tyreek Hill’s status. Lamb continues his magical season for the surging Cowboys, and he’s thriving in their West Coast offense. Lamb is third in targets, sixth in targets, tenth in air yards, and leads the NFL in RZ targets. He should be a featured player in this week’s tilt with an O/U pushing 51 points.

Other options - Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Mike Evans, Brandon Aiyuk

Mid-tier options - DeAndre Hopkins, Rashee Rice

VALUE PLAY

DeMarcus Robinson, LAR ($3600)

Matthew Stafford may not be enough exposure to the Rams’ passing game, but it also may prove difficult to get Kupp or Nacua into cash with all the focus on the high-end RBs. Enter Demarcus Robinson, who received ten targets last game and has scored in consecutive weeks. Tutu Atwell is currently in concussion protocol, which means Robinson could start alongside Kupp and Nacua in the most pristine matchup.

Other options - Terry McLaurin, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Demario Douglas, WanDale Robinson

TIGHT END

TOP PLAY

Trey McBride, ARI ($5200)

I’m writing up the second-year sensation as the top play at the TE position, but I do have my misgivings. He’s finally priced up to where he should after multiple weeks at value, and SF in general has been death to the TE position for several years now. Ultimately you can definitely play McBride in cash, as he has 53 targets since taking over as the starting TE, but I’d rather go cheap.

Other options - Travis Kelce

VALUE PLAY

Tucker Kraft, GB ($3000)

Tucker Kraft is a “Monday Night Special” who did not see a price hike due to playing after the DraftKings slate was released. Kraft has received ten targets over the last two weeks and is still priced as a reserve when, in actuality, he’s a key part of this Green Bay passing attack. Tampa Bay is incredibly vulnerable to the TE position, allowing the third most FPPG and the second most receiving yards to the position.

Other options - Davis Allen, Chig Okonkwo
