Week 4: Digging In The Crates

DraftKings Main Slate (12 Games)

Quarterbacks

Brock Purdy vs. Cardinals ($5,900)

Brock Purdy has picked right up where he left off last season, running Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Purdy has logged QB ratings of 111.3 in two of three games this season and has played interception free football. He’ll get a Cardinals team that is full of confidence after beating the Cowboys last week. The 49ers are -14 home favorites, and at Purdy’s price tag, and endless weapons around him, he’s just fine at his low DK cost Week 4.

Russell Wilson @ Bears ($5,900)

Russell Wilson is clearly a shell of what he once was, and it really is astonishing how quick it seemed to have happened. That said, he has thrown for 300+ yards in back to back games. He also rushed for 50+ yards Week 2, which still gives us that rushing equity bonus. Wilson will face a Bears team that is struggling at every level, and is in a perfect “get right” spot after getting pummeled by the Dolphins Week 3.

Running Backs

D’Andre Swift vs. Commanders ($5,700)

THIS is the D’Andre Swift that the Lions were hoping to get, but he has been plagued by injuries. Swift has had 48 touches, for 305 yards, over the last two weeks. He’ll face a Washington run defense this week that is allowing 128 yards on average per game since the start of the season. Based on the volume, his floor seems high, and his ceiling is enormous. The price is too cheap for the usage Swift should have.

Josh Palmer vs. Raiders ($4,000)

The Chargers are going to be without Mike Williams for the rest of the season, and someone is going to fill in. Palmer had 70+ receptions last season, and figures to be a complimentary piece to Keenan Allen. Through three games, Palmer has 13 targets. We have yet to see Kellen Moore’s air attack shine outside of Keenan Allen, but Palmer’s time is coming and he should be a building block in DFS lineups this week.

Jakobi Meyers @ Chargers ($5,500)

Davante Adams is one of the highest projected wide receivers Week 4 on the main slate, and Jakobi Meyers is not far behind. Meyers has 22 targets in the two games he’s played, averaging 22 FPTS per game. The Chargers secondary has been picked apart all season. Jimmy G has yet to clear concussion protocol, and his absence could hinder the ability for Adams and Meyers to pay off their tags. Regardless, i’ll have exposure to both, and Meyers is way cheaper.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth @ Texans ($3,400)

Pat Freiermuth is projecting as a top-5 Tight End Week 4 on the road at Houston. He is the number two option for Kenny Pickett in the passing game behind George Pickens with Diontae Johnson sidelined. Big Pat seems to be Kenny Pickett’s preferred target in the red zone, as the young tight end has hauled in two touchdown passes on the season. We are going to need cap space this week, and Freiermuth fits the mold. I am either paying up for TJ Hockenson, or paying way down this week.

Hunter Henry @ Cowboys ($4,300)

The Patriots added Mike Gesicki this offseason, but we have see Hunter Henry be one of the lone bright spots on a vanilla Patriots offense. Henry has caught 13-of-18 targets through three weeks. Offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien has a history of featuring tight ends, and Henry looks to be a focal point so far. We have seen 15+ FPT upside from Hunter Henry twice already. I’ll have him in some of my builds, largely because of his price and usage.

Defense/Special Teams

Bills vs. Dolphins ($2,700)
