Andy Dalton- QB- Bengals

The Bengals have announced they are starting quarterback Andy Dalton this week when they host the New York Jets. While the Bengals didn't win a game when Dalton started the first eight week of the season, Dalton wasn't a terrible player for the 6/8 weeks from a fantasy football perspective. The Jets have been average at best against the pass this season, and if you take away last week's game against the Raiders when Derek Carr was horrendous, they have given up some huge games to average quarterbacks such as Gardner Minshew II in week 8, Ryan Fitzpatrick in week 9, Daniel Jones in week 10. All three quarterbacks had at least three touchdowns and 279 passing yards. Pick up and start Dalton this week for a buck.

Alex Erickson- WR- Cin

Along with Andy Dalton coming back as the starting quarterback in week 13, it should mean that Alex Erickson could pick up where the tandem left off before Dalton was benched. In the three games prior to the benching, Erickson recorded 18 receptions for 281 and 27 targets. The Jets have given up the 6th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. As long as veteran receiver A.J. Green doesn't suit up and Andy Dalton is the starter, Erickson could be a viable option in PPR leagues for owners desperate for a wide out. You can get him for a buck today.

Benny Snell Jr.- RB- Steelers

Depending on James Conner availability in week 13, Benny Snell Jr. could be a solid pick up for a dollar this week. Last week against the Bengals, Snell had 21 carries for 98 yards. Jaylen Samuel carried the ball just two times compared to Snell. Pittsburgh faces the Browns this week, whose run defense has been middle-of-the-road at best. Snell coupled be a great long-term play too if you are in a keeper or dynasty league. Pick him up today for a buck and wait to see Conner's status for week 13.

Russell Gage- WR- Falcons

The former LSU Tiger put up a solid fantasy performance last week against the Bucs after Julio Jones temporarily left the game with a shoulder injury. Gage ended the game with eight receptions for 76 yards. He also had ten targets out the 46 attempts thrown from Matt Ryan. If running back Devonta Freeman misses this Thursday night's game against the Saints, Ryan might be in for another 40 plus throwing attempts performance, and Gage could be the beneficiary of his high-volume efforts. Austin Hooper is also questionable this week, which could benefit Gage's opportunities. Pick him for a buck this week.

Rashaad Penny- RB- Seahawks

With Chris Carson fumbling the ball twice last week against the Eagles, the Seahawks turned to Rashaad Penny who had his best game of the year. Penny recorded 14 carries for 129 yards and one touchdown. Head Coach Pete Carroll said after the game that Penny is likely to get more opportunities heading toward the end of the season. The Seahawks have a tough matchup this Monday against Minnesota's good run-defense. But even if Penny doesn't have the best game this Monday, he still might be worth a pickup as teams head into the playoffs. Pick up Penny this week for a buck.

Jack Doyle- TE- Colts

Now that Eric Ebron has been placed on the IR, tight end Jack Doyle should become one of Jacoby Brissett's favorite targets for the rest of the season. Ebron and Doyle spent the first twelve weeks of this year sharing the load, but with Ebron out, Doyle might have a chance to become a top five tight end for the rest of the season. The Colts face the Titans on Sunday, whose defense has given up the 11th most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Doyle is definitely worth a pickup and a start this week for a buck.
