Sterling Shepard- WR- Giants

After the first two weeks of the season, it looks like Sterling Shepard is the number one wide receiver in New York. Shepard the most targets on the team and is the only wide receiver with a touchdown thus far. Last week against the Panthers, Sterling had 10 targets and six receptions for 34 yards. Sterling won't be consistent, and he has been injury prone for most of his career, but if you need a wide receiver, he could be someone to fill in on players' bye week. The Giants face the Cowboys this week, whose defense has given up the 12th most fantasy points to wide receivers this year. Get Shepard for a buck and he could be a valuable player on your roster for the entire year.

Noah Brown- WR- Cowboys

While CeeDee Lamb is the clear-cut number one receiver in Dallas, Noah Brown has recorded the most targets through the first two week of the season. Last week against the Bengals, Brown had five receptions for 91 and a touchdown. In week one against the Bucs, he had nine targets. Not sure if last week was just a fluke with Cooper Rush at quarterback, but Brown looks like the number two wide out right now in Dallas. You can get him for a buck today, and he could be even better when Dak Prescott returns to the team in a couple weeks.

Darrell Williams- RB- Cardinals

It's not certain how long starting running back James Conner will be out for the Cardinals, but it's worth spending a dollar on Darrell Williams now. Last week against the Raiders, Williams had eight carries for 59 yards and a touchdown after Conner exited the game. One thing to note though, even if Conner is out and Williams gets more playing time, he's most likely will split time with Eno Benjamin. But he's worth picking up regardless. The Cardinals have a tough matchup against the Rams' run defense this week, but Williams is a good candidate to start if you need a running back or flex player. Take a small risk and get Williams for a buck now in case Conner is out for a long period of time.

Isaiah Likely- TE- Ravens

It's not normal for rookie tight ends to see a ton of targets, especially if they are the second tight end on the depth chart. But even behind Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely has seen nine targets in his first two NFL games. Last week against the Dolphins, he recorded four receptions for 43 yards. Likely might not be someone to add on your team unless you are in a dynasty or keeper league. He could be worth a buck today and be extremely valuable later in the season. Get him for a dollar.

Cole Beasley- WR- Buccaneers

The Buccaneers are planning on signing Cole Beasley this week to fill in the gaps for a suspended Mike Evans and injured Chris Godwin. While it may take a couple weeks for Beasley to get integrated in the offense, he fits the wide receiver style that made Wes Welker and Julian Edelman so good in New England with Tom Brady. He should see snaps this week against the Packers. You can get him for a buck.

Joe Flacco- QB- Jets

If you need a quarterback for week 3, Joe Flacco could be your last resort. Last week against the Browns, Flacco threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns. He ranks third among all quarterbacks in passing yards and has 103 pass attempts in the first two games this year, so you know he's going to have plenty of opportunities. Obviously, Flacco is not a long-term play, but he might worth starting this week get him for a buck. Pick him up and start him if you are desperate for a quarterback.
