Dollar Free Agents Week 5

Michael Wilson- WR- Cardinals

If you need a wide receiver this week, Michael Wilson might be available in your league for a buck. Last week against the 49ers, he recorded seven catches for 76 yards and two scores. Wilson is seemingly moving up in the depth chart. He has more targets than Rondale Moore and Zach Pascal combined, and he’s tied for the most touchdowns this season with Marquise Brown. Pick up Wilson this week for a buck if he’s available.

Joshua Dobbs- QB- Cardinals

Another Cardinal player to think about adding this week for dollar is Joshua Dobbs. He’s had three good outings in a row, and two those were against the Cowboys and the 49ers. Last week in San Francisco, he threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns, while also recording 12 carries for 48 yards. He’s got a decent matchup against the Bengals this week. If you have a quarterback on a bye, Dobbs looks like a safe bet to get you at least 20 points.

Logan Thomas- TE- Commanders

Washington tight end Logan Thomas may be worth picking up and starting this Thursday against the Bears. Last week in his return from a concussion, he recorded three catches for 41 yards. The Commanders play a very weak Chicago defense, which could bode well for all the Washington players. There are not a ton of options for tight end in week 5, but Thomas could be the best of the bunch available. Get him today for a buck if you need a tight end for one week.

Wan’Dale Robinson- WR- Giants

The former Kentucky wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson might be only hopeful fantasy player for the Giants after last Monday night against the Seahawks. He only recorded five receptions for 40 yards, but it did seem that Daniel Jones and Robinson found the start of some type of chemistry. The Giants face the Dolphins this week, whose defense has given up the 10th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Robinson could be a quality bench player for a fantasy owner, especially in full PPR leagues.

Dalvin Cook- RB- Jets

Although the former pro bowler has been terrible compared to previous years, Dalvin Cook and the Jets have a good matchup in week 5 against the Broncos. While Cook is getting out-carried by Breece Hall, he’s still getting touches when the Jets offense isn’t going three downs and out. Cook will have his best shot all season this week when he faces the Broncos, whose defense has given up the most points to running backs in the first four weeks of the season. Give Cooks one more shot this week against a terrible rushing defense.

Ronnie Rivers- RB- Rams

One dynasty or keeper prospect to think about this week is Ronnie Rivers. Last week against the Colts, he recorded nine carries for 47 yards, and had two catches for 10 yards. The Rams really like Rivers and he is expected to see a larger role in the offense moving forward. He’s still behind Kyren Williams on the depth chart, but expect to see Rivers getting more and more touches as the season moves forward. Get Rivers for a buck now and see if he can make your starting lineup by the end of the year.
