Rex Burkhead- RB- Texans

While fantasy owners expected Dameon Pierce to get most of the snaps on Sunday, it was Rex Burkhead that was in the game 71 percent of the time. He had 14 carries for 40 yards and five catches for 30 yards. Eventually, I believe Pierce will become the lead back, but Burkhead has been a good receiving back in his career and is most likely the best pass protector of all the running backs on the Texans' roster. Expect Burkhead to see ample playing time in the beginning of 2022.

Dontrelle Hilliard- RB- Titans

While Titan's running back Dontrelle Hilliard only had two carries last Sunday against the Giants, he managed to catch three passes for 61 yards and two scores. He is clearly the third down back for Tennessee, and the backup behind Derrick Henry. The Titans face the Bills Monday night, which could be another tough outing for Henry. Expect Hilliard to see plenty of third down snaps. Pick him up for a buck.

Devin Duvernay- WR- Ravens

Someone to keep your eye on is Baltimore wide receiver Devin Duvernay. It looks like he could be the number two receiver in Baltimore only behind Rashod Bateman. Last week against the Jets, he recorded four receptions for 54 yards and two scores. Obviously, Mark Andrews and Bateman are expected to see most of the targets, but Duvernay could be a sneaky start some weeks depending on the matchup. He is worth picking up for a buck this week. Wait to see if the Ravens continue to utilize him before starting him in your lineup.

Hayden Hurst- TE- Bengals

If you need a tight end, Bengals' Hayden Hurst might be a good dollar free agent. He is replacing long-time tight end C.J. Uzomah, who had a couple good fantasy outings last year with quarterback Joe Burrow. Last Sunday against the Steelers, Burrow found Hurst five times for 46 yards from eight targets. Not sure how long Tee Higgins will be out with a concussion, but it could mean an increase in targets for Hurst. Pick him up for a buck this week.

Carson Wentz- QB- Commanders

Washington quarterback Carson Wentz might not be someone to keep on your roster all season, but if you had Dak Prescott and need a QB for week 2, Wentz has a solid matchup against the Lions. Last week against the Jaguars, Wentz threw 27 completions, for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has weapons to throw to and the Lions gave up the most points in week 1. Wentz is worth a dollar in week 2 if you need to quarterback to start.

Curtis Samuel- WR- Commanders

Another Commander to add to your team for a dollar is Curtis Samuel. Last week against the Jaguars, he recorded eight receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. One of the more surprising stats is that Samuel saw 11 targets. Yes, he did have one fumble loss, but he looks like he will be important to Washington's offense. If he can stay healthy, Samuel might be someone you want to add this week for a dollar.
