Week 10

Quarterbacks

Taylor Heineke vs. @Buccaneers ($5,400)

Last season, Taylor Heineke made his debut in a tough fought game against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. He’ll get them again at home week 10 as 9.5 dogs, with a game total sitting at 51 1/2. His ability to extend plays, and mobility gives us the added rushing equity we crave in fantasy land. Pairing him with Terry McLaurin (will be hardly owned) makes a sneaky stack in a game where the Football Team will be chasing points.

Carson Wentz vs. Jaguars ($5,900)

Carson Wentz has posted top-5 among quarterbacks since Week 5 and has multiple touchdown passes, and zero interceptions in four of the last five games. He’ll get a bottom 10 Jaguars pass defense that is allowing 272 yards a game. Wentz said he’ll play week 10 regardless of the potential birth of his second child. Using him with Michael Pittman makes plenty of sense, and both of them are affordable.

Running Backs

D’Ernest Johnson @ Browns ($4,700)

Covid-19 has hit the Cleveland Browns backfield and D’Ernest Johnson is the last man standing. Johnson had 24 touches 7 against the Broncos and absolutely smashed his price point (27.8 FPTS). Johnson will get a middle of the road Patriots run defense that is allowing 109 rushing yards per game. He’s too cheap for the volume he’ll receive week 10.

Tony Pollard vs. Falcons ($4,600)

There is a big question whether or not Ezekiel Elliott (play based on Zeke’s health) will be playing week 10 against the Falcons. Enter, Tony Pollard. If Elliott is out, then Pollard is a slam dunk at his price point. Anticipate more than the 10ish touches he’s been getting recently as the Cowboys look to preserve Zeke into the Playoffs.

Wide Receivers

Elijah Moore vs. Bills ($4,700)

The Jets looked like a completely different offense a couple weeks ago when Mike White was under center and threw for 400+ yards. Elijah Moore has caught 13-of-14 targets over the last two weeks averaging 20 DK points in that span. The Jets will be playing catch up in a game script that will suit the Jets pass catchers well. Moore was an early second round pick with high expectations. Zach Wilson’s inability to get his the ball slowed that process. He’s a great sneaky tournament play that will go overlooked.

Tyler Johnson @ Football Team ($3,300)

With all the uncertainty surrounding the Buccaneers wide receivers, Tyler Johnson could be a great pt/$ play week 10. Particularly the health of Chris Godwin. Johnson caught 5-of-6 targets week 8 against the Saints. The Football Team has been absolutely atrocious defensively, and Tom Brady should light up the secondary. If we’re “paying up” at running back this week, Johnson will allow us to get there at a newr minimum salary.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth vs. Lions ($3,900)

The Steelers lost JuJu Smith-Schuster for the season and Pat Freiermuth has stepped up in his absence. Freirermuth has caught 9-of-13 targets, and three touchdowns over the past two weeks. His sub-4 K price tag is a steal against the lowly Lions. Chase Claypool is carrying the questionable tag which would also open up usage for Freiermuth, particularly in the red zone.

Adam Trautman @ Titans ($3,000)

Adam Trautman is up to 13 targets in under two games with Trevor Siemian after averaging 2.2 in just over six games with Jameis Winston. He is obviously becoming a safety blanket for Trevor Siemian in the middle of the field. He’s playing over 90% of the Saints offensive and i’m in at his price. He could be blooming at the right time.

Defense/Special Teams

Vikings @ Chargers ($2,300)
