Nyheim Hines- RB- Colts

After agreeing to a new contract to stay in Indy, Nyheim Hines opened the season with a decent fantasy day. He recorded nine rushes for 34 yards and caught six passes for 48 yards. If you are in a full PPR league, then Hines should be a target this week. Starting-running back Jonathan Taylor will get most of the rushes, but Hines is likely to be the third down back and collect garbage time points in the fourth quarter. The Colts' face a tough Rams front seven in week 2, which could mean that quarterback Carson Wentz dump the ball off quickly to his running backs. Hines could see 10 targets this week, so pick him up for a buck.

JaMycal Hasty- RB- 49ers

While fantasy owners are bidding for 49ers' running back Eli Mitchell in free agency, JaMycal Hasty might be the worth picking up for a buck. Last week Hasty scored a touchdown against the Lions on his only carry of the game. While Mitchell is the front runner, fantasy owners should not trust Head Coach Kyle Shanahan to stick with any-one running back. Trey Sermon might be available too, but Hasty played well last season for the 49ers and will most certainly get more chances in the upcoming games. Hasty is not a long-term addition, but he could see snaps against the Eagles this Sunday. Pick him for a buck.

Teddy Bridgewater- QB- Broncos

Denver quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has a favorable matchup in week 2 against a Jaguars secondary that allowed Tyrod Taylor to almost throw for over 300 yards. Last week, Bridgewater completed 28 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns against a tough Giants' secondary. Even with Jerry Juedy out this week, Bridgewater has Courtland Sutton, K.J. Hamler, Noah Fant, Melvin Gordan and Jevon Williams to throw to for a big fantasy day. Pick up and start Bridgewater this week if you need a good quarterback matchup.

Sammy Watkins- WR- Ravens

The former Kansas City Chief, Sammy Watkins, showed spurts of his old self in his first game with the Ravens. On Monday night against the Raiders, Watkins had four receptions for 96 yards. He saw eight total targets on the night, which led the team. Even with Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown seeing targets, Watkins should be a vocal point in the Ravens' pass offense. The Ravens are a high run-heavy offense, but Watkins is worth picking up for a buck this week.

Jalen Reagor- WR- Eagles

The former first round pick, Jalen Reagor, opened the season with a positive fantasy outing. On Sunday against the Falcons, he had six receptions for 49 yards and one score. After starting his rookie campaign slow last season, he showed Sunday why the Eagles took him in the first round of the 2020 draft. Reagor may be more valuable in keeper and dynasty leagues considering he is only 22 years old. If quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to show progress in the passing game, Reagor will have immediate fantasy value. Pick him up this week in dynasty and keeper leagues.

Juwan Johnson- TE- Saints

Even with tight end Adam Trautman playing on Sunday, Juwan Johnson might be worth picking up for a buck this week. Trautman led the team in targets, but Johnson was especially important in the red zone. Last week against the Packers, Johnson had three receptions for 21 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Jameis Winston targeted his tight ends for over 40 percent of the pass attempts. It's hard to say whether Johnson's success may be tied to Michael Thomas missing time due to injury, but he could hold value on sites that have Johnson listed as a tight end/wide receiver. You can get him for a dollar this week.
