Startem sitem 2016 week 7 SUNDAY

By Brad Kruse
Brad Kruse John Brown WR ARI SEA SIT
Brown has turned in 3 games with 5 or more catches and 3 games with 1 catch. He gets a tough matchup this week against Seattle. Look for other options

Mike Wallace WR BAL NYJ START
Wallace has at least 3 catches in each game. He hasn't scored a TD since week 2, but his yardge often puts him in the startable category.

Giovani Bernard RB CIN CLE START
Gio has emerged as the better play at RB the last couple of weeks. He's out snapped Jeremy Hill in 4 of the last 5 weeks. It's a nice matchup. He's put in startable numbers in 3 of 6 games including the last 2.

Blake Bortles QB JAC OAK START
Oakland has given up startable numbers to 4 of 6 opposing QBs. The two weeks they didn't they held the opposing QB to roughly 1/2 of a startable number. In those 2 weeks they faced strong rushing attacks from Tennessee and Kansas City. Look for Jacksonville to attack them through the air enough to allow Bortles arm and/or legs to propel him to 20 points or more. Bortles currently has scored 20 points or more in 2 of 5 weeks.

Alex Smith QB KAN NOR START
New Orleans is 25th against opposing QBs. They have yielded startable numbers in 4 of 5 matchups this year. Alex Smith has turned in 2 of 6 startable weeks. He is at risk of Kansas City riding their strong running back duo, but they are both proficient receivers so I like his odds at turning in his third startable week.

Ryan Mathews RB PHI MIN SIT
Between Mathews myserious usage leaving fantasy owners to guess if his ankles will be sore or not and the tough matchup, it's best to move on from Mathews in week 7. Despite all his issues, he's averaging 10.8 ppg and has turned in 3 of 5 startable weeks. But the chance of a flame out is too high to trust Mathews.

Carson Wentz QB PHI MIN SIT
Wentz, the hot rookie QB who has 3 of 5 startable weeks so far in 2017 is best left on your bench against one of the toughest defenses this year. Minnesota is 8th against the QB. Minnesota hasn't allowed a startable number to an opposing QB since week 2.

Philip Rivers QB SD ATL START
Atlanta's defense has let up points to both opposing rushers and QBs. Look for San Diego to try to keep pace with Atlanta through the air. Rivers has turned in startable numbers in 3 of 6 weeks. Look for him to add to that this week.

Hunter Henry TE SD ATL START
Henry is emerging as one of the rare exceptions of rookie tight ends to be playable in fantasy. He's coming on strong and Atlanta ranks 29th vs opposing tight ends. I like Henry's chances to make an impact in week 7.

Mike Davis RB SF TB START
Mike Davis gets a chance this week with Carlos Hyde sporting a sling. If he's given the volume, he stands a good chance of contributing to your fantasy team this week. Tampa ranks 23rd vs opposing RBs and makes for a nice spot start in week 7.

Jacquizz Rodgers RB TB SF START
Since containing Gurley in week 1, the 49ers have been a soft matchup to oppsing running backs. They've averaged 33 ppg to opposing RBs in that stretch. Jacquizz gets another chance this week with Doug Martin having a setback and Charles Sims on IR. If he's given the volume, he stands a good chance of contributing to your fantasy team this week.
