In this Start Em / Sit Em column each week, I'm looking to find some fringe players that you might consider starting each week and comment based on their matchups. Early on, I'll base my selection of candidates on where they were with respect to ADP. I'm not going to try to pad my stats by suggesting your start Josh Allen each week, but instead trying to dig deep and find some nuggets for players to avoid or to go after. These are coin flip guys and if I can finish the year at better than 60% I'll consider it a success. My metrics to get the start decision are: QB 20 pts or more, RB, WR or TE need to score 12 pts or more for a successful endorsement. Defense/Special Teams should put in 8 points or more to get those picks right. I'll look at ~3 players on each Thursday night's game and ~ 6 players for the rest of the week to get you going.

Player Pos Team Opp Start / Sit Comment
Matthew Stafford QB LAR ARI START Stafford now had Cooper Kupp back and gets the team ranked 29th vs opposing QBs. He's a great streamer this week
Jared Goff QB DET TB SIT I'm going to try again to downgrade Goff. He definitely is much better at home and TB is much more giving to the RB than the passing game. It looks like a Montgomery weeek.
Kyren Williams RB LAR ARI START Arizona alssoo ranks poorly (29th) vs opporint RBS.
Raheem Mostert RB MIA CAR START Mostert shoould be back in the lead role this week with Achhane on IR. You don't get much of a better matchup thann Carolina for RBS.
Jerome Ford RB CLE LV START Ford has been productive since taking ooverr for Chubb now on IR. This week he gets a plus matchcup.
Rachaad White RB TB DET SIT Detroit is the toughest defense vs the RB. I'd look for better options this week.
Chuba Hubbard RB CAR MIA START Miles Sanders is OUT this week, look for Hubbard to walk into aa solid market share this week.
D'Onta Foreman RB CCHI MIN START With Herbert on IR and Roschon OUT with a concussion, Foreman emerges as the starting RB for the Bears this week
Drake London WR ATL WAS START Londoon has had a trroubled start to the season. Washington liness up as 27th toughest vs the WR and 5th toughest vs the TE. London should be producctive this week.
