DRAFTKINGS WEEK 15 DFS GPP STACKS TO TARGET

COVID has reared its ugly head even moreso since I published yesterday’s cash article, so it’s vital to stay in tune with us at Football Diehards to make sure you’re on top of the best situations to attack this week. Despite all the struggles, there are still a couple of strong points of emphasis this week when stacking, so let’s get down to it.

CAVEAT: Unlike most weeks, these games do not really offer “double-stacking” upside both ways, so we’ll be predominantly focused on one team as the stack, with a player or two as the proper bringback (if necessary).

ATLANTA FALCONS AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (SF -8.5, O/U 46)

With the 8.5-point spread and Kyle Shanahan’s propensity to run the ball, I think all eyes will be on Eli Mitchell if he returns, and Jeff Wilson (to a bit lesser extent) if Mitchell does not. That leaves the SF passing free to stack in GPPs, and the Niners have an unusually high team total (for them) of 28.5 points. Jimmy Garropolo is fourth in the NFL in passer rating over his last five games and has a full complement of pass catchers to keep teams guessing, led by George Kittle, who is all of a sudden Superman. Kittle has gone an unreal 23-322-3 on 27 targets over his last two games, and ATL has allowed the fourth most receptions to TEs. Deebo Samuel has taken a backseat to Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk in the passing department, but he’s made up for it on the ground, with 27 carries and FIVE rushing TDs over the last four games. The TDs are unsustainable, but Deebo’s versatility makes him playable in all formats, especially GPP. As for Aiyuk, he had 11 targets on a 94% snap share, so he was not harmed at all by Kittle’s and Deebo’s usage. Fire him up in any stacks.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS AT LOS ANGELES RAMS (LAR -4, O/U 46)

Keep a very close eye on this game, as both teams are dealing with a lot of COVID cases. If things stay as they are, though, we have potential for super condensed offenses against defenses that are also missing key players. The Rams are the side you want to stack, as Cooper Kupp is on pace for the triple crown for wide receivers, leading the NFL in catches, receiving yards, and receiving TDs. With only one game under ten targets (and nine in that one), Kupp is underpriced at 9k. He’s a cash lock and I recommend being overweight in GPP as well. With Odell Beckham likely out with COVID, Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee should see additional target share in this one, and neither are priced as such. Jefferson has scored in three straight games, and had seven or more targets in the six games prior to his last one.
For Seattle, they will be missing Tyler Lockett who leads the team in both target share and air yards share, so DK Metcalf is the obvious bringback now. Just keep in mind that he is dealing with an injury, and could have Jalen Ramsey on him if he ultimately returns from COVID. Gerald Everett is also in play as a cheap TE bringback, as is week 14 sensation Rashaad Penny.

DALLAS COWBOYS AT NEW YORK GIANTS

This is strictly a Dallas stack, and you do not need a Giants bringback with their putrid team total of 17. The Giants are already ravaged by injury and COVID, and this week that list will be joined by Leonard Williams, Adoree Jackson, and Xavier McKinney, thereby removing ANY further defensive resistance from a team that is already 30th in pressure rate. Ceedee Lamb is a smash play with 23 targets and three rushing attempts over his last two games, and Amari Cooper is fresh off a game where he finally looked healthy, logged an 88% snap share, and went 5-51-1 on seven targets of his own. Michael Gallup is the most unpredictable with everyone healthy, but he’s got just as much GPP upside against the Giants who have allowed the ninth most FPPG to WRs and will be down a ton of personnel. Dak is obviously the QB to stack with all these guys. He’s been struggling lately, but he should have the cleanest pockets he’s had in awhile on Sunday and is priced for his struggles at $6500. Dalton Schultz can also be included in DAL stacks with Xavier McKinney out, as he’s logged a 96% shap share since Blake Jarwin went on IR.
Another approach that can be used is the Dallas running game, provided both are healthy. The Giants have allowed 5.4 YPC and the sixth most FPPG to opposing RBs, and Zeke and Pollard would correlate with the Dallas defense, whose pass rush should wreak havoc on the Giants’ battered O-line.
