Player Pos Team Opp Start / Sit Comment
Baker Mayfield QB CLE NE SIT Baker may be one of the better QBs NE's defense has faced this year, but they're the top defense vs opposing QBs and Mayfield hasn't been very trustworthy.
Kyle Allen QB CAR SF SIT Kyle Allen has had some servviceable games but he gets a tough test this week vs. SF's 2nd ranked defense vs opposing QBs. Find another soluton.
Mason Rudolph QB PIT MIA START Rudolph was trending in the right direction prior to the concussion knocking him out for a couple weeks ending in the BYE. If he can regain form, he has the matchup this week to help him get to a startable output.
Ryan Tannehill QB TEN TB START Tannehill came out firing as he looks to get back his career. He showed great chemistry with Corey Davis and also found Humphriels and AJ Brown often. He gets a bottom 8 defense vs the QB who also is tough vs the run. It's a funnel defense that will likely prevent TEN from being so run heavy that Tannehill would get neutralized as Cousins did on Thursday night.
LeSEan McCoy RB KC GB START Green Bay has had difficulties vs opposing running games giving up nearly 5 ypc. Look for KC to use its running game more with Matt More behind center and McCoy to put in a startable game.
Ty Johnson RB DET NYG START Johnson ascends to RB1 in Detroit after the Kerryon injury and gets a top 8 matchup vs opposing RBs. Plug him in if you're in trouble due to injuries or BYEs
Kenny Stills WR HOU OAK START Stills gets an uptick in snaps and likely targets with Fuller out a few weeks. He's a solid play this week vs. OAK
Jonnu Smith TE TEN TB START With Delanie Walker OUT this week, 3rd year TE Jonnu Smith gets a great matchup. He caught 3 for 64 last week when Walker went down, he has a solid shot with Tannehill to find production at the TE position.
