Week 11

Dwayne Haskins- QB- Red Skins

If you are desperate for a quarterback to start in your week 11 matchup, the former Ohio State Buckeye, Dwayne Haskins, might be worth a pick up and a start for a dollar. Red Skins coach Bill Callahan has named Haskins the starter for the rest of the season, which should give Haskins a mental boost after being second on the depth chart to Case Keenum. This week Haskins has a good matchup against the Jets, whose defense has given up the 11th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. Haskins should also have second year running back Derrius Guice back to help open up the passing game. Pick up and start Haskins if you are desperate.Â

Darius Slayton- WR- Giants

The fifth round pick out of Auburn, Darius Slayton, has been surprisingly productive this season with Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard missing a few games. Last week against the Jets, Slayton recorded ten receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns. He’s has a couple up and down games this season, but he seems to be one of rookie quarterback Daniel Jones’ favorite targets. The Giants are on a bye week this week, but it may be worth picking up Slayton for buck this week. He could end up being a primary wide receiver for Jones and the Giants if he continues to be productive.Â

Kyle Rudolf- TE- Vikings

Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolf is starting to get more involved in the offense. In the last two weeks, Rudolf only has seven receptions for 37 yards, but he has three touchdowns. With Adam Thielen out, quarterback Kirk Cousins needs another target in the red zone. Rudolf could be valuable this Sunday if your starting tight end is one a bye week. The Vikings face the Broncos, whose defense has given up the 12th fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season. Pick up Rudolf is you need a tight end for your week 11 matchup.Â

Deebo Samuel- WR- 49ers

If George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders miss another game or two, Deebo Samuel would be a great player to pick up this week for s buck. After Sanders exited Monday’s nights game against the Seahawks, Samuel was Jimmy Garoppolo’s most reliable receiver. He finished the game eight receptions for 112 yards. The 49ers face the Cardinals this upcoming weekend, whose defense has allowed the 10th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Samuel should already be picked up in keeper and dynasty leagues, but he’s most likely available in your standard league. Pick him up now for a buck.

Brian Hill- RB- Falcons

Now that it's confirmed that Devonta Freeman will miss at least two games, Brian Hill could be a good pick up this week. Last week against the Saints, he had 20 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown. Kenjon Barner could also see more opportunities with Freeman sidelined, but Hill is expected to get the bulk of the carries. Hill shouldn’t be a long-term play, but the Falcons are facing the Panthers horrific rush defense this week. Carolina’s defense has given up the 3rd most fantasy points to running backs this year. Pick up and start Hill this week if you need a running back.Â

Derrius Guice- RB- Red Skins

The second year/injury prone running back, Derrius Guice, may be available in your league this week. He should get some touches against the Jets on Sunday, but it's expected that he gets worked into the rotation slowly to avoid any setbacks with his recovery. Guice was supposed to be a quality player for Washington, but he lost his entire first year and most of his second year due to injuries. The Red Skins have a horrible offensive line, but maybe Guice could be someone who gives Washington fans something to hope for heading into next season. If you are in a keeper and dynasty league, you may want to see if Guice is available. In standard leagues, you can get him for a buck this week.
