Alex Erickson- WR- Bengals

With all the injuries the Bengals have suffered at wide receiver, Alex Erickson stepped up and made an impact last week against the Jaguars. Erickson recorded eight receptions for 137 yards, and also had a team high 14 targets. The former Wisconsin Badger has yet to prove that he is a valuable player through an entire season, but he may be worth picking up in deep leagues. If A.J. Green continues to miss games, Erickson could find a larger role for the rest of 2019. Pick him up today for a buck.

Demaryius Thomas- WR- Jets

While the Jets looked terrible on Monday against the Patriots, former Bronco Demaryius Thomas saw nine targets in the blow-out loss. In fact, in the last three weeks, Thomas has seen a total of 22 targets. Second year quarterback Sam Darnold and Thomas aren't on the same page yet, but it looks like Thomas is finally getting back his health after dealing with some injuries from last season. He might be worth a pickup and a start this week against the Jaguars if you have a wide receiver on a bye week. You can get him for a buck today.

Teddy Bridgewater- QB- Saints

Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater seems to be available in most leagues, and he has a favorable matchup this week against the Cardinals who have given up the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Bridgewater has been decently consistent since taking over for Drew Brees back in week 2. Last week against the Bears, he has 281 yards passing and two touchdowns. Most likely Bridgewater is not going to light-up the stat sheet, but he could be a good quarterback to start this week if you have a player on a bye week.

Benny Snell Jr.- RB- Steelers

Although James Conner will continue to get the majority of the carries, Benny Snell Jr. should be on everyone's radar. When Conner left the Steelers' last game with an injury, Snell filled in and helped Pittsburgh secure the victory over the Bengals. Two weeks ago, Snell had 17 carries for 75 yards. Jaylen Samuels is doubtful this week, so Snell should see a good workload if Conner needs a break or suffers an injury. The Steelers play the Dolphins on Sunday. So even If Conner plays, Snell could see lots of garbage-time touches. Get him today for a buck.

Wendall Smallwood- RB- Red Skins

If you are desperate for a running back in week 8, Wendell Smallwood might be worth considering for a buck. Adrian Peterson is dealing with a high ankle sprain and Chris Thompson is suffering from a toe injury, so Smallwood might get the nod this week against the Vikings. Minnesota has a really good rush defense, but Smallwood should also see some opportunities in passing downs as well. Pick up and start Smallwood this week for a buck of you reeeeaaaallllly need a running back.

Dallas Goedert- TE- Eagles

Someone worth picking up in keeper and dynasty leagues could be Dallas Goedert for the Eagles. Last week against the Cowboys, Goedert caught four balls for 68 yards and a touchdown. He seems to be getting more involved this season, and Zach Ertz seems to be getting less involved. Ertz is still the clear starter, but don't be surprised if Goedert also becomes a focus for Carson Wentz in the rest of the season. You can get Goedert right now for a buck.
