Trey Lance- QB- 49ers

With Jimmy Gorappolo struggling at quarterback, fantasy owners might want to think about picking up backup Trey Lance. Garoppolo is one bad game away from being benched, and Lance has the big-play ability to be a quality fantasy quarterback. Garoppolo is expected to start in Week 8, but now is the time to pick up Lance. If you can roster Lance this week, he may pay off for the second half of the season. Get him today for a buck.

Boston Scott- RB- Eagles

Eagles' running back Boston Scott may be someone worth picking up in your fantasy league. After Miles Sanders left last week's game against the Raiders with an injury, Scott and Kenneth Gainwell split the workload from the remainder of the game. Gainwell out snapped Scott, which may make him the hotter free agent pick up this week. But Scott was able to score a touchdown and will likely get most of the carries going forward. The risk is if the Eagles are playing from behind, which they do a lot, then Gainwell will most likely be the pass-catching running back getting the snaps. It's a risk either way, but you can get Scott for a buck this week.

Dante Pettis- WR- Giants

Since the Giants are dealing with a ton of injuries at wide receiver, Dante Pettis is worth taking a look at this week. In the last two games, he has 16 targets and 10 receptions. Last week against the Panthers, he recorded five receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. His success isn't sustainable with Kenny Galladay, Sterling Shepered and Kadarius Toney eventually coming back. But Pettis might be a great player to fill in for some of your players on a bye in the upcoming weeks.

Brandon Bolden- RB- Patriots

With Rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson out last week, Brandon Bolden got the most targets of all the Patriots running backs last week. Bolden recorded six receptions for 79 yards and a score on Sunday against the Jets. It's hard to say which of the running backs will be most effective on a week to week basis, excluding Damien Harris who looks like the clear number one. But the Patriots are utilizing all of their backs this year. Bolden and the Patriots have a good matchup Sunday against the Chargers, whose defense has given up the fifth most fantasy points to running backs this year. If you need to take a risk on a running back, Bolden might be your best option.

Kalif Raymond- WR- Lions

I mentioned Lions' wide receiver Kalif Raymond a couple weeks ago, and I'm going to mention him again because he is still available in the majority of fantasy football leagues. Raymond has recorded at least six targets in 4 of the last five games, and last week against the Rams he caught six passes for 115 yards. He only has two touchdowns on the season, but he is a viable option in full PPR leagues. You can still get Raymond for a buck this week and use him as a substitute for your wideout on a bye.

Tyler Conklin- TE- Vikings

Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin has a good matchup this Sunday night against the Cowboys. Dallas's defense has given up the 12th most fantasy points to tight ends this season, and that's after they took last week off. Sunday night should be a high scoring game considering the explosive players on both sides. With Justin Jefferson battling with Trevon Diggs, Conklin might find himself with more targets than usual. If you need to take a flyer on a tight end this week, Conklin could be a good risk.
