Kerryon Johnson- RB- 49ers

The 49ers' running backs are getting injured left and right. So far on the season, Raheem Mostert, Eli Mitchell, JaMycal Hasty, and Trey Sermon have all recorded injuries. Kerryon Johnson might get promoted from the practice squad and have a real chance to get carries against the Packers this Sunday night. Depending on the injury status for the other running backs, you may want to get Johnson now for a buck. If he gets playing time, he could be a quality running back to start for a couple weeks. It's worth spending a buck now for Johnson and keeping eye on the other running backs injuries before committing him to your starting lineup.

Jimmy Garoppolo- QB- 49ers

49ers' quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo might be someone worth starting this week when he faces a Packers' defense that has allowed the sixth most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. When Garoppolo last faced the Packers in the 2019 regular season, he threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns. So far in the two games, he's thrown for 503 yards and two touchdowns. If Garoppolo can't put up good numbers this week, he's probably not worth mentioning in fantasy football for the rest for the season. Give him a chance this week for a buck if you need a quarterback to start for you team.

Hunter Renfrow- WR- Raiders

One of the few wide receivers left on the Dollar market that may have the most consistent role for his team is Hunter Renfrow. He's not going to light up the scoreboard, but he's also not going to give fantasy owners zero-point weeks. So far through two games, he has 11 receptions for 127 yards. He's not relevant in non-ppr leagues, but he's a good bench player that could get you 10 points as a sub. Roster Renfrow for a buck and start him when you have receivers on a bye week.

Maxx Williams- TE- Cardinals

It's hard to find tight ends in fantasy football these days, but Max Williams might be someone who can give owners a good week every once in an awhile. After not recording a single point in week 1, Williams had seven receptions for 94 yards in week 2 against the Vikings. The Cardinals face the Jaguars on Sunday, whose defense has allowed the tenth most fantasy points to tight ends through two games. His fantasy relevancy might come inconsistently, but unless you have one of the top four or five tight ends, it's hard to imagine that Williams wouldn't be relevant to your team. He has a good matchup in week 3, and you can get him for a buck.

J.D. McKissic- RB- Washington

If you need a running back in a full PPR league, J.D. McKissic might be your guy. Last Thursday night against the Giants, he recorded four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown, and five receptions for 83 yards. Antonio Gibson will continue to get most of the playing time, but McKissic could be a good option if you desperately need a running back to start for a week. Washington plays the Bills this week, whose defense has allowed the third fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. McKissic may see more playing time if the Washington is playing from behind. He's a risky start, but a good dollar free agent to pick up in PPR leagues.

K.J. Osborn- WR- Vikings

Someone to keep your eye on this week is Vikings' wide receiver K.J. Osborn. Last week against the Cardinals, he caught five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. So far on the year, he has more receptions and yards than second year sensation Justin Jefferson. It's hard to imagine that Osborn will continue to the see this type of targets and production, but he's worth picking up in leagues with deep rosters. If any injuries occur to Jefferson or Adam Thielen, then Osborn becomes an immediate starter. Get him for a buck today.
