K.J. Osborn 2023 Outlook
Osborn is itching for a bigger role with Minnesota after the team released long-time standout Adam Thielen in the offseason. Osborn now sees himself as the No. 2 wideout behind star Justin Jefferson, but the club did draft promising Jordan Addison in the first round and the rookie figures to receive plenty of chances to live up to his billing. Osborn has caught 12 scoring passes over the last two seasons and quarterback Kirk Cousins has shown increasing confidence in him. A bigger role would give Osborn a chance at an 80-catch season and perhaps approach 1,000 yards. Osborn finished the regular season with two 100-yard outings over the last four games, including a 10-catch, 157-yard performance against the Indianapolis Colts that rates as the best of his career in both categories. That outing was part of a strong finish in which Osborn caught 30 passes for 388 yards and three scores over the final five games. Consistency is needed in Osborn's results as he had 25 or fewer yards on nine occasions. He needs to improve in that area.
