Ty Montgomery- RB- Packers
Fantasy owners might want to consider picking up Ty Montgomery in PPR leagues this week. He’s starting to get more action in the last two games, recording eight receptions for 105 yards. Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers has expressed his frustration with the offense after last week’s win against the Bills. Montgomery might be in line for more opportunities since Rodgers seems to trust the veteran running back more than some of his receivers. The Packers face the Lions this week, whose defense has given up the third most fantasy points to running backs in the league this year. Pick up Montgomery in PPR leagues this week for a buck.

Hayden Hurst- TE- Ravens
The Ravens’ 2018 first round pick Hayden Hurst might finally suit up this week against the Browns. Hurst has been dealing with a foot injury all season. He was back at practice last week, and he is questionable to play in week 5. Hurst isn’t a player to put in your starting lineup right away. He may not even be someone to start all year, but he’s an interesting prospect for keeper and dynasty leagues. If Hurst is healthy, he might be the best pass-catching threat of all the tight ends in Baltimore. There are three other tight ends in ahead of Hurst, but the Ravens picked him for a reason in the first round. Spend a dollar to pick up Hurst in dynasty and keeper leagues this week.

Mike Davis- RB- Seahawks
Seahawks running back Mike Davis had a breakout game last week against the Cardinals. He recorded 21 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Davis earned a spot in the running back rotation moving forward. He seems to be higher on the depth chart than rookie running back Rashaad Penny, but Chris Carson could steal carries from Davis if he returns this week against the Rams. Carson seems to be always dealing with an injury, so it might be a smart move to pick up Davis this week for a buck before he gets expensive.

Kendrick Bourne- WR- 49ers
The 49ers seem to be the most injury prone team in 2018. Besides Jimmy Garoppolo being lost with a torn ACL and linemen injuries, 49ers’ wide outs Marquis Goodwin and Dante Pettis have dealt with injuries all year as well. Goodwin looks like he’s going to play, but Pettis has been rules out for week 5. Fantasy owners should look at Kendrick Bourne this week is they are in desperate need of a wide receiver. Bourne in last week’s game recorded three receptions for 34 yards and a score against the Chargers. Look for Bourne to see more snaps this week when the 49ers host the Cardinals.

Antonio Callaway- WR- Browns
Rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway might be a player keeper and dynasty fantasy owners want to pick up this week for a buck. His production has be so-so in four weeks, but since Baker Mayfield has played, he’s seen 20 targets in the last two weeks. Callaway has shown just how fast he can be by averaging 15.5 yards per catch, but he’s had too many drops to make him a reliable fantasy player this year. Callaway should be picked up this week for a buck in keeper and dynasty leagues. He has the talent, but owners might need to wait a little longer for him to mature into a quality player.

C.J. Beathard- QB- 49ers
For fantasy owners that are struggling at quarterback this year, C.J. Beathard might be someone you want to pick up this week for a buck. Since Jimmy Garoppolo is out for the year, Beathard will most likely be the starter for the remainder of the 2018 season. Last week against the Chargers, he threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns. Head Coach Kyle Shanahan has been known to make quarterbacks play up their full potential like RG3 and Kirk Cousins in Washington, and Matt Ryan in Atlanta. Beathard will see plenty of opportunities to throw the ball this season in Shanahan’s pro quarterback offense. Pick up Beathard for a buck this week.
