Albert Wilson- WR- Dolphins

Miami wide receiver Albert Wilson had a breakout game against the Bears last week. He had six receptions, 155 yards and two scores to help the Dolphins come back from behind and win in overtime. While his stat line was impressive, but it was more notable how he scored each touchdown. Wilson juked and out ran the Bears defense on both scores. He’s not player to rely on weekly, but he could be a good bye week fill-in if you’re desperate for a wide receiver. The Dolphins play the Lions this week, whose defense has given up the 9th fewest fantasy points to wide outs this season. Pick up Wilson for a buck this week.

Raheem Mostert- RB- 49ers

A player that Matt Breida owners should think about picking up is Raheem Mostert. On Monday night against the Packers, Mostert ran the ball 12 times for 87 yards. Breida and Mostert split carries evenly pretty much through the entire game, while veteran running back Alfred Morris looked to be the odd man out. Breida almost missed the game after suffering a sprained ankle in week 5 against the Cardinals. Fantasy owners might want to spend a buck this week on Mostert to ensure they have a running back available if Breida is out with an injury. You can get him for a buck this week.

Tyrell Williams- WR- Chargers

If you’re in need of a wide out for week 7, Chargers wide receiver Tyrell Williams might be a guy you want to consider picking up. Last week against the Browns, Williams had three receptions for 118 yards and two scores. Williams has big play potential as he showed last week against Cleveland. He’s competing for targets with former first round pick Mike Williams, but Tyrell Williams has out-produced Mike in the last three weeks. The Chargers host the Titans Sunday, whose defense has given up the 17th most fantasy points to wide out this year. Pick up and start Tyrell Williams for a buck this week if you have a receiver on a bye.

Eli Manning- QB- Giants

While two-time super bowl winner Eli Manning has struggled this season, week 7 might be a good week to pick up the Giants quarterback and start him. The Giants face the Falcons Monday night, whose defense has given up the 2nd most fantasy point to quarterbacks this year. Manning has six touchdowns passes and four interceptions so far this year. Manning’s main concern this year has been the offensive line. But with the Falcons missing key defensive players, he should be able to get some time to deliver quality passes. Pick up and start Manning if you have Aaron Rodgers on a bye week.

C.J. Uzomah- TE- Bengals

Since Tyler Eifert in on the IR again and Tyler Kroft is in a walking boot, fantasy owners should consider picking up and starting C.J. Uzomah this week. Last week against the Steelers, Uzomah had his best game of the season, recording six receptions for 54 yard. The Bengals face the Chiefs Sunday night, whose defense has given up the 3rd most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Considering tight ends have been hard to come by in the 2018 season, Uzomah might be a player you want to keep on your roster for the rest of the year. Pick him up this week for a buck.

Derrius Guice- RB- Redskins

For fantasy owners in keeper or dynasty leagues, you may want to look at picking up Washington running back Derrius Guice. The rookie was in line to be the starter for the Redskins until he suffered a torn ACL in his first preseason game this year. While Adrian Peterson has been productive for the Redskins this year, there’s almost zero chance that he will be back in Washington next year. Guice will most likely be the guy next season unless he suffers a major setback in his recovery. It’s worth spending a dollar now to keep Guice on the bench until next season.
