Ed Dickson- TE- Carolina
With Greg Olsen expected to be out at least another five weeks, fantasy owners should look at picking up Ed Dickson. The former Raven looks like he’s finally fitting in the offense in Carolina. Last week against the Lions, Dickson had five receptions for 175 yards. While he is typically used as a blocking tight end, it’s safe to say that quarterback Cam Newton will target Dickson until Olsen comes back. Dickson and the Panthers face Philly this Thursday. If you need a tight end for this week, better pick up Dickson quickly for a dollar.

JuJu Smith-Schuster- WR- Steelers
While Martavis Bryant continues to struggle in Pittsburgh, fantasy owners should start to take a long look at rookie wide out JuJu Smith- Schuster. Since week 2, Smith- Schuster has seen 20 targets and recorded 12 receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Bryant is still seeing more targets, but it seems like Smith-Schuster has better chemistry with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Smith-Schuster should be picked up in keeper and dynasty leagues, and fantasy owners with Bryant might want to pick up the rookie just in case an injury occurs. Get him this week for a buck.

Michael Floyd- WR- Vikings
The former Cardinal Michael Floyd found the field for first time this year since being suspended for a DWI. Now he’s with the Vikings, and has some work to do if he wants to get back on the field in a more consistent role. Currently, Floyd is the number four wide out on the depth chart behind second year player Laquan Treadwell. Floyd was a former first round pick for the Cardinals and had some good years in Arizona before his off-the-field issues added up. Fantasy owners in dynasty and keeper leagues should keep an eye on Floyd. He should have no problem passing Treadwell in the depth chart. Get him now for a buck and see if he can become the “old” Michael Floyd later in the season.

Roger Lewis- WR- Giants
The Giants’ wide receiver depth got crushed last weekend when Odell Beckham Jr., Dwayne Harris and Brandon Marshall were lost for the season. Sterling Shepard also suffered and injury in New York’s week 5 loss to the Chargers and is questionable in week 6. Wide out Roger Lewis looks like he might get the start this Sunday night against the Broncos. While this might not be the best week to pick up and start Lewis considering that he’s facing a tough Bronco secondary, he might end up being a valuable player later in the season. Eli Manning will have to throw to someone on the team, and Lewis could be the recipient. Pick him for a buck.

Marlon Mack- RB- Colts
Rookie running back Marlon Mack looks like he will see more touches after a break-out game last Sunday against the 49ers. Right now there is a RBBC in Indy, but Mack looks like he’s the most talented off them all. On Sunday he recorded nine rushing attempts for 91 yards and a score. This Sunday he faces the Titans, so expect Mack to see plenty of opportunities against a defense that hasn’t looked like its 2016 self. Pick up Mack today for a buck.

Shane Vereen- RB- Giants
With all the injuries to the Giants’ wide receivers this season, I expect quarterback Eli Manning to check down to his running back Shane Vereen a lot more often. Vereen should be picked up in all PPR leagues considering he might be the only viable option in New York right now. So far on the season, Vereen has 19 receptions for 134 yards and 17 rushing attempts for 65 yards. The Giants face a tough Denver defense this Sunday, and Vereen could be the lucky player to get all the check down recptions. Pick up and start Vereen if you are in a PPR league and if you are in desperate need of a running back.

Jacoby Brissett- QB- Colts
Fantasy owners might want to consider picking up and starting Colts’ QB Jacoby Brissett if their normal starting quarterback is on a bye week. The Colts face the Titans this week, whose defense has allowed the second most fantasy points to quarterback this season. Brissett had a decent fantasy outing last Sunday against the 49ers. He completed 22 pass attempts for 314 yards and scrambled for a touchdown on the ground. Pick up and start Brissett this week against the Titans.
