Alex Smith- QB- Washington

If you need a quarterback for week 11, Alex Smith might be worth a buck. Last week against the Lions, he threw for 38 completions and 390 yards. He has another favorable matchup this week when Washington faces the Bengals, whose defense has allowed the fourth most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Smith might not be a long-term solution for your team, but he could be worth a start depending on the matchup. Pick him up for a buck and start him this week.

Carlos Hyde- RB- Seahawks

It looks like there a good chance that Carlos Hyde will play this week when the Seahawks face the Cardinals. He hasn't played since week 7 against Arizona, where he managed 15 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. If Chris Carson continues to miss games, Hyde could end up being the starting running back for a couple weeks. It's not certain he will play this week, but you can get Hyde for a buck now.

Salvon Ahmed- RB- Dolphins

Miami running back Salvon Ahmed may be a player worth looking at this week in free agency. The undrafted rookie recorded 21 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown last week against the Chargers. The Dolphins waived Jordan Howard this week, which might be a good sign that they like what they've seen from Ahmed. Fantasy owners may have to wait until after the Dolphins matchup with Denver this week to see if Ahmed is going to be the lead running back moving forward. Get him this week for a buck and hope he becomes the guy in Miami.

Marvin Hall- WR- Lions

The Lions are beginning to get Marvin Hall more involved in the offense. Hall looks like he is the only big-play-maker down the field, averaging over 28 yards per catch in two of his last three games. Last week against Washington, he had two catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. As long as Kenny Golladay is out with a hip injury, Hall should have a role to play on the Lions' offense. You can get him for a buck this week.

Josh Reynolds- WR- Rams

While Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods will continue to get the start at wide receiver for the Rams, Josh Reynold is quietly seeing increasing targets each game. Last week against the Seahawks, Reynolds had 10 targets, eight receptions, and 94 yards. He has at least eight targets in the last three games. While Reynolds and Jared Goff struggled to connect in earlier games, last week's 80 percent completion rate to Reynolds might be the beginning to productive second half of the season. Pick up Reynolds for a buck this week.

Jordan Reed- TE- 49ers

Even though the 49ers are a bye week, fantasy owners may want to pick up Jordan Reed this week before San Francisco's week 12 matchup against the Rams. Last week against the Saints, Reed caught five ball for 62 yards. With George Kittle on the IR, Reed becomes an integral part in the 49ers' offense. He could be the tight end that fantasy owners have been searching for this year. Get him this week for a buck today.
