WEEK 14 WAIVER WIRE
Jameis Winston - The Saints lost QB Derek Carr due to an injury on Sunday, and he was replaced by backup Jameis Winston. Winston has shown the ability in previous seasons to be a top-12 or better fantasy QB, but keep in mind that he does have a big turnover problem.
Antonio Gibson - After starting RB Brian Robinson left Sunday’s game due to a hamstring injury, Gibson stepped in for the Commanders. He rushed 10 times for 35 yards, and added 4 receptions for 37 yards. Should Robinson miss time, Gibson would be a nice plug-and-play FLEX option due to his receiving upside.
Tyjae Spears - Titans star RB Derrick Henry left Sunday’s game due to an injury midway through the fourth quarter. Spears handled the majority of the workload for the Titans after the injury, rushing 16 times for 74 yards, and added four receptions for 13 yards as well.
Curtis Samuel - Over the last couple of weeks, Commanders WR Curtis Samuel has become an emerging weapon for the Commanders. In week 13, he led the team with four receptions for 65 yards. Last week, Samuel had nine receptions for 100 yards. Let’s keep riding the hot hand.
Odell Beckham, Jr. - Beckham was mentioned in this space last week, and we are going right back to the well in week 14. He’s had a solid last four weeks of games for the Ravens, totalling 14.60, 11.10, 15.60 and a lone stinker of 6.40 fantasy points in week 12. Beckham is still available in 65% of NFL fantasy leagues.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jayden Reed
Brevin Jordan - Texans TE Brevin Jordan filled in for the injured Dalton Schultz and performed admirably in week 13, hauling in three receptions for 64 yards. If Schultz needs to miss another week, Jordan could be an interesting option at the TE position.
