Dollar Free Agents Week 12
Jordan Love- QB- Packers
If you need a quarterback this week, Jordan Love is available in over 50 percent of fantasy football leagues. Love and the Packers face the Lions this Turkey Day, whose defense has allowed the 12th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. Love has been playing well in the last few games. Last week against the Chargers, he threw for 322 yards and two scores. He should be available this week if you need a quarterback with a favorable matchup.
Brandin Cooks- WR- Cowboys
Dallas wide receiver Brandin Cooks may be available in your league this week for a buck. After starting the season as an afterthought in the Cowboys’ offense, Cooks recorded a touchdown in three out of four games. In week 10 against the Giants, he had nine receptions for 173 yards and a score. Cooks cooled off last week, only catching three balls for 42 yards. But in week 12, the Cowboys face the Commanders defense, who has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Cooks is available in almost half the fantasy football leagues.
Odell Beckham Jr.- WR- Ravens
The last three games for the former pro-bowl wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., has been productive for the Ravens. Last game against the Bengals, Beckham had four receptions for 116 yards. He’s had three straight games with over 10 fantasy points, and the Ravens face the Chargers defense in week 12, whose allowed the second most fantasy points to wide receivers this year. Beckham is dealing with a shoulder injury, but he is not expected to miss any time. With Mark Andrews possibly done for the year, Beckham could become more important to the Ravens’ offense. You can get him for a buck this week.
Ezekiel Elliot- RB- Patriots
Although the former Cowboy, Ezekiel Elliot, hasn’t done much to impress fantasy managers this year, he might be a good pickup this week when the Patriots face the Giants. In Elliot’s last game against the Colts, he carried the ball 13 times for 54 yards and caught two balls for 34 yards. The Giants have allowed the 10th most fantasy points to running backs this year, and Elliot should see a good number of opportunities this Sunday. If you are desperate for a running back this week, Elliot might be worth considering.
Tyjae Spears- RB- Titans
If you want to take a long shot this weekend, Titans running back Tyjae Spears might be a viable option. Derrick Henry has struggled this season, and most notably in the last two games where he only recorded 62 rushing yards combined. Spears hasn’t done much either, but he has big-pay potential and will face one of the worst rushing defenses at home in week 12. The Panthers have given up the second most fantasy points to running backs this season. If you’re desperate, Spears might be the most logical risk.
Isaiah Likely- TE- Ravens
With starting tight end Mark Andrews expected to miss the rest for the season, Isaiah Likely should be available in your league for a dollar this week. Likely showed some potential last season when he recorded 36 receptions and three touchdowns. But this season he’s been put on the backburner by newly added receivers and a healthy Andrews. But with Andrews suffering from an ankle injury, Likely should get a fair shot. The Ravens face the Chargers on Sunday night, whose defense has allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to tight ends this year. Take a shot on Likely this week.
