Jimmy Garoppolo- QB- 49ers

Fantasy owners that lost Carson Wentz this past weekend may want to consider picking up 49ers Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (like I did). While Garoppolo hasn't found the end zone more than twice since coming into the game against Seattle in week 12, he has produced plenty of yards. In the last two weeks, he managed 51 completions for 627 yards and a score. The 49ers are starting to gain confidence with wins in the last two weeks, and Garoppolo is the primary difference in those wins. San Francisco faces the Titans this Sunday in Garoppolo's home debut. Pick up start the new "Italian Stallion" (my nickname for him) if you need a quarterback.

Jesse James- TE- Steelers

Fantasy owners should consider picking up Jesse James after his performance in Week 14. James helped the Steelers make their comeback win last Sunday night against the Ravens by contributing 10 receptions for 97 yards. With Vance McDonald possibly out with a shoulder injury, James might be the primary tight end this week when the Steelers host the Patriots. If you are need of a tight end for the semifinals this week, pick up James for a buck.

Rod Smith- RB- Cowboys

I wrote about picking up Cowboys running back Rod Smith before starter Ezekiel Elliot was suspended because there was a good chance he would be the starter. While he isn't the starter, Smith is still producing decent fantasy numbers. In the last three weeks, Smith has 235 total yards and four touchdowns. He is getting out-touched by running back Alfred Morris, but Smith is still getting plenty of playing time as the backup. The Cowboys head to Oakland this weekend, whose defense has been sub-par all year. If you are in desperate need of a running back, Smith might be your guy for a buck.

Kerwynn Williams- RB- Cardinals

With Cardinals' running back Adrian Peterson out with a neck injury, fantasy owners should pick up Kerwynn Williams this weekend when Arizona heads to Washington. Williams has seen plenty of opportunities in the last two weeks, recording 36 carries for 170 yards on the ground. The Red Skins have given up the 12th most fantasy points to running backs this year and rank 26th in total rushing yards allowed per game. Washington's defense has been on the decline the last few weeks and rank dead last in points allowed. Williams is still available in many leagues and you can get him for a buck this week.

Keelan Cole- WR- Jaguars

Since the injury to Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns, Quarterback Blake Bortles has been finding Keelan Cole more often. In the last two weeks, Cole has six receptions for 148 yards and two scores. Hurns remains on the sidelines during practice, which could give Cole more opportunities to showcase his skills this weekend. The Jaguars face the Texans this Sunday, whose defense has given up the 7th most points to wide receivers this year. Cole won't be a long-term play, but he may be able to help fantasy owners out of a sticky situation if they need a wide receiver for this weekend.

Marquise Goodwin- WR- 49ers

Along with 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo being a good dollar store pick up this week, wide out Marquise Goodwin has been a quality receiver option in the last four games. In the 49ers last four matchups, Goodwin has recorded at least 78 yards of total receiving yards, and since Garoppolo became the starter, Goodwin has 14 receptions for 205 yards. He is slowly becoming one of Garoppolo's favorite options in San Francisco. The 49ers face the Titans this weekend, whose defense has given up the 11th most points to wide receivers this season. Pick up and start Goodwin this week for a buck.
