Yahoo Sports provides weekly DFS and an overall Yahoo Cup for the NFL season. We’ll try and find players who will outperform their value and give you flexibility with your lineups. At the end we’ll take a look at week seven for players to stream or even pick up ahead of this week’s waiver claims.

Quarterbacks

Jared Goff – L.A. Rams – $34

GB at LAR -9.5, O/U 56.5
Andrew Luck is the other $34 quarterback and I won’t talk you out of his matchup against the Raiders. I’m highlighting Goff because I think he’ll have the lower ownership. Todd Gurley has seven rushing touchdowns the last three weeks which has lowered Goff’s ceiling. If Gurley is feasting he will be fed. One of Gurley’s three TD’s last week was from Goff and we know the QB can go off in this offense.

Kirk Cousins – Minnesota – $33

NO at MIN PK, 52
More Sunday night fun for us on Yahoo as Cousins gets to tee-off against Drew Bress and the Saints. Are the Saints forcing teams to throw or is the secondary the place to attack them? New Orleans has the number one rush defense (72.3) and the 28th ranked pass defense (293.7). Over the last four weeks Cousins has a 7-to-1 TD-to-INT ratio with primetime receivers at his disposal.

C.J. Beathard – San Francisco – $24

SF -1 at ARI, 42.5
Beathard has more appeal as a season long bye week paly this weekend, but if you want to spend up elsewhere this is the play at QB. He showed he can make plays downfield against the Packers. In his second start this year, against Arizona, he attempted 54 passes (349-2-2). Kyle Shanahan isn’t shy about letting his backup quarterback sling it.

Running Back

James Conner – Pittsburgh – $30

CLE at PIT -8, 49
Not breaking any news here, but you can get Gurley like production for $10 less this weekend. Conner racked up 197 total yards against the Browns week one. Yes, Cleveland is better. They also are giving up the fifth most rushing yards against, 134.7.

Marlon Mack – Indianapolis – $21

IND -3 at OAK, 50.5
Health resulted in a late start to his season, but that hasn’t held him back the last two weeks. Mack capitalized on 19 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown against Buffalo last Sunday and tacked on a receiving TD for the exclamation point. Luck has to love that a RB is emerging to lean on with the lowly Oakland Raiders on deck. (The risk of early writing, Mack was a DNP during Thursday’s practice).

Tarik Cohen – Chicago – $17

NYJ at CHI -8, 45
The price hasn’t changed as Cohen continues to churn out receiving yards. Cohen’s targets over the last three weeks, 8-9-13, as the Jets head to town having surrendered 37 points to the Colts and 34 to the Vikings.

$13 savers: Jalen Richard (OAK), Raheem Mostert (SF).

Wide Receivers

Robert Woods – L.A. Rams – $27

Woods leads the team in targets, receptions and yards. With Cooper Kupp out its Brandin Cooks, Gurley and Woods and no one can slow them down.

Kenny Golladay – Detroit – $20

SEA at DET -3, 49
Golladay, Golden Tate and Marvin Jones all have three touchdowns. Even as the Lions offense sees growth in the run game, Matthew Stafford has kept all three viable fantasy players. Golladay has emerged as the ‘big-play’ threat with 29 receptions for 465 yards (16 avg.).

Doug Baldwin – Seattle – $18

Two weeks ago in England, Baldwin slid back into his lead receiver roll with 6-91 on eight targets. There’s no question about the talent and he’s healthy enough to produce. Take the discount on a number-one WR.

Michael Crabtree – Baltimore – $16

BAL -2.5 at CAR, 44
Last week we went to John Brown (7-134-1), this week we go back to the solid floor of Crabtree. Over the last three weeks he’s averaging 10 targets, 5.6 receptions and 75 yards-game.

Tre'Quan Smith – New Orleans – $14

He played 73-percent of the snaps last week after Ginn went on the I.R. Big play or bust Sunday night dart.

Tight End

George Kittle – San Francisco – $19

Kittle has four or more receptions in all but one game this season. His seven catches of 20-yards or more lead the team. He’s their best receiving option and an easy TE1 this week.

Jared Cook – Oakland – $19

Cook is living off two big games this year. His last two games have produced six receptions for 30-yards. This is purely an out of the box, I’m going to be different, fingers crossed, and Derek Carr has to throw to someone play.

Jimmy Graham – Green Bay – $17

The Packers receiving core has been limited by injuries the last two weeks and should see a bump with players returning after the bye. Graham is in a comfortable role and this weekend feels like a TD week.

Look Ahead

Cincinnati, Indianapolis, New York Giants, Philadelphia, Arizona and Jacksonville will have the week nine bye.

Maybe it’s just bye week fallout, but I’ve noticed Mike and Tyrell Williams have hit the wire. They are strong WR3 with solid matchups ahead. Keenan Allen has only scored once. It might be too late, but he is a fantastic season long target for positive TD regression.

Stefon Diggs is another trade target. He’s coming off back-to-back 33 yard games and a clear number-two. There are plus matchups ahead and the Vikings week 14-16 schedule is @SEA, vs. MIA and @DET.

It’ll by tricky for defensive streamers with the amount of teams off. The Dallas defense looks good hosting Tennessee Monday night.
