Yahoo Sports DFS and Season-long Streaming Options WK 10 2018
By JJ Buck
Yahoo Sports provides weekly DFS and an overall Yahoo Cup for the NFL season. We’ll try and find players who will outperform their value and give you flexibility with your lineups. At the end we’ll take a look at week seven for players to stream or even pick up ahead of this week’s waiver claims.
No one expected the Colts to be favored over Jacksonville at any point this season, but here we are. He’s thrown 20 touchdowns with five interceptions over the last five games. The attempts will remain high and they’ll need him sharp to make sure the Jaguars don’t find some confidence in the secondary this weekend.
Goff’s salary has been all over the place this year. His performance over the last two weeks has been on point; six touchdowns and one interception. Goff was average in Seattle earlier this season (23-32-321-1 TD – 2 INT). His receiving core is healthy and at home I expect an above average Goff to get the Rams back in the win column.
Las week we highlighted one stud RB, Kareem Hunt (141 total yards, 3 TD’s). This week’s top nod goes to Gordon. He returned from resting his hamstring and rushed 16 times for 113 yards and a TD. It’s the Raiders, need we say more?
The price has dropped and the Dallas offense does not inspire a lot of confidence against a stout Eagles defense. The thing we get with Elliott is all volume. After going M.I.A in the second half of Monday night football Zeke is sure to be the focal point of the offense. He has seen more work in the passing game and that’s what we are banking on this weekend, the total yardage.
Coleman feasted on the Washington defense in a nice road win for the Falcons last week. Coleman has been solid, but finally had a breakout game in the backfield with 156 total yards and two receiving TD’s. The Browns were toasted by Hunt out of the backfield last week.
Lewis out rushed Derrick Henry 19-to-6 and even with Henry getting a close rushing touchdown, Lewis dominated the day. His receiving ability adds to his ceiling. I expect the former Patriot will be the key of former Patriot and now Titans head coach Mike Varbel’s attack.
Chris Carson is questionable after not practicing on Wednesday. Davis would slide right into a lead role which he did last week after Carson left with injury. On the road Seattle might look to try and slow the game down against an explosive Rams offense.
After two quiet weeks, 3-70 and 4-69, it’s time the Cheetah reminds everyone what he is all about.
Kupp just gets it done. After returning from a knee sprain, Kupp ran past the Saints defense for 5-89-1 last Sunday. The scheme and targets favor Kupp and he’s a great stack partner for Goff.
Hilton hasn’t popped yet. His matchup against the Jags’ should be what is needed to bring the best out of Hilton.
The rookie has emerged as a threat in the Packers offense. Geronimo Allison was placed on the I.R. this week making MVS’s outlook even better at home against the Dolphins.
Howard’s consistency is impressive. He doesn’t receive the same target share as the top priced TE’s, but the results have been just as good. In a pass happy offense Howard is strong if you don’t want to pay up for Zach Ertz or Travis Kelce.
Jack Doyle ($16) and David Njoku ($14) are also in the mix if you want to take a shot on a mid-level TE. Reed has always been about the hype, injuries and what could have been. He’s played in every game this year with average results. Against the Bucs’ lets bet on a TD.
Teams on bye: New England, Miami, New York Jets, Cleveland, San Francisco and Buffalo.
Do we buy into John Ross just because A.J. Green is out? It’s worth a stash as the Bengals have a favorable fantasy playoff schedule.
Throw up the X. Dez Bryant will be a viable WR3 down the stretch.
If you picked up the Chargers defense for their game against Oakland, you can run them out again next week against Denver.
If you are grasping for straws at TE there are two one bye this week, Jeff Heuerman (DEN) and Jordan Thomas (HOU) that have recent production.
Odds from VegasInsider.com as of 11/9/2018.
