Tale of the Tape: Lisa Ann vs. Gridiron Scholar

Lisa Ann and Pilar Lastra are the hosts of Fantasy Sports After Dark on SiriusXM Radio and held a live Mock Draft Army broadcast with Howard Bender on June 23, 2016.

 

I was invited to participate in the points-per-reception draft and the results of both Lisa Ann’s club (1st pick overall) and my team (10th pick overall) are provided below for analysis and insight. 

 

I endeavor to draft, and manage, the fantasy franchise that scores the most points at the end of the season. In an attempt to take the subjectivity out of the analysis, I researched the season-long projections on three major sites—ESPN.com, FantasyPros.com and CBSSportsline.com—and computed the average points scored by players at the end of the season.

 

Afterwards, I calculated the total points of the projected starting lineups of Lisa Ann and myself, and the results are tabulated in charts for readers to examine and analyze.
