DFS Tournament Game Breakdown 2019 Week 13

Quarterback

Nick Foles, Jacksonville Jaguars

The showdown between Jacksonville and Tampa Bay currently has the second-highest total at 49 points and the Jags are home-favorites of one point in the contest.

The Bucs have also been the worst defense in the entire league against opposing passers. The Bucs rush-defense is on the exact opposite end of the spectrum. They are allowing the second-fewest points to running backs this season, behind only New England.

Foles is going to be one of the lowest-owned passers on the slate despite being in a great spot for quarterbacks. He also has clear-stacking options that won't be heavily owned either.
 

Running Back

Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs haven't given Ronald Jones complete control over Tampa Bay's backfield but Jones has cemented himself as the best fantasy back in Tampa.

Jones is averaging more yards per carry (4.0) than Peyton Barber and more yards per target (8.4) than Barber (3.0) or Dare Ogunbowale (5.4).

Bruce Arians has given Jones the start in the past four weeks and he's averaging 15 touches per game and has scored three times. He's a great play to run back with Foles.
 

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers

Similar to his "Jones" counterpart in Tampa, Aaron Jones isn't dominating his team's touches out of the backfield but he is in a great spot this week.

The Packers are 6.5-point favorites against the New York Giants this week. Running back units facing the Giants average 27.3 rush attempts per game (3rd-most) and 112.5 yards (8th-most) this season.

Jones has also shown off his slate-breaking potential multiple times this year. He has four top-five weekly finishes at the running back position through 12 games.

Because Jamaal Williams has been cutting into his workload, Jones is strictly a tournament option. Given the game-script he should see, Jones is still a great option in larger field contests.
 

Wide Receiver

D.J. Chark, Jacksonville Jaguars

Foles doesn't carry much rushing equity so if you're running him in a tournament, you have to pair him with at least one of his pass-catchers. D.J. Chark is the best man for that job.

Chark's 1,114 air yards are top-10 among receivers this season. He's the only Jaguar with a target share of at least 20% and an air yards share of at least 30%. No Jacksonville wideout is within 80 fantasy points of him.

His matchup with Tampa Bay is also perfect. The Bucs have allowed the second-most air yards to opposing teams so far and those teams average an 8.8 aDOT on them. That mark is eighth-highest in the NFL.
 

Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs expect Tyreek Hill to play this week and I expect you (yes you) to play Hill in your tournament lineups this week.

Hill is coming off of a game where he scored zero points and burned anyone who played him. He's still wildly expensive as the highest-priced pass-catcher on the main slate. Add in the fact that people are going to look to pay up for Lamar Jackson and Christian McCaffrey and Hill's ownership is going to be relatively low compared to the upside he brings.

Hill gets the Raiders and their horrid pass-defense this week. Oakland has allowed their opponents to average 7.9 yards per attempt this season, 29th in the NFL.

Getting up to Hill is going to give your lineups a unique build and Hill still has 50-point upside on every week.
 

Tight End

Darren Waller, Oakland Raiders

The emergence of Hunter Renfrow has cut into Darren Waller's fantasy production more than most people realize. Renfrow had gone over 40 yards in four straight games before suffering a rib injury Sunday. Waller averaged three catches for 45.3 yards over that stretch. Before that he was averaging 7.3 catches for 80.8 yards.

Renfrow runs similarly shallow routes across the middle of the field and the more often he was catching the ball the less Waller did.

Now Renfrow is out of the picture and Waller should return to his early-season form. He also plays in the game with the highest total of the week (51). Waller/Hill is the ideal secondary stack.
 

Defense

Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh is on their third-string passer and his nickname is synonymous with bad passes. The Steelers may also be without Juju Smith-Schuster and James Conner again this week. The Browns are favorites this week and on DraftKing they are the cheapest defense to meet that criteria. If you're punting defense to get multiple studs in your lineup, role with Cleveland.
