Cash games in Daily Fantasy Sports are considered 50/50’s and head to heads. When we are building cash games we are trying to build our line up’s with the highest floor possible. A high “Floor” line up is a lineup that is built to show optimal usage. Usage is guaranteed opportunity. Usage can be quantified by snap percentage and targets for Running Backs, snap percentage and targets for wide receivers and positive game script for quarterbacks.

Quarterback

Andy Dalton (5,400)
I usually like paying down at the quarterback position in cash and this is the perfect spot. Andy Dalton is going up against an Atlanta secondary that has been banged up and has really struggled in limiting opposing QB’s. Dalton can be stacked with budding star Tyler Boyd in cash games. While it’s not a necessity to stack in cash it’s their if you want to based on both players prices. Dalton is likely the chalk in cash but he’s far from a free square and always fadeable in tournaments.

Running Back

Melvin Gordon
The Chargers are a 10.5 point favorite versus the 49ers at home this Sunday. The Chargers have the highest implied team total on the slate at 28 points and the 49ers are middle of the pack against the run. Gordon has seen an extreme usage spike this season and is being utilized more in the passing game then in years past. If Keenan Allen who has a Q tag also sits that would just add more usage for Gordon.

Wide Reciever

Tyler Boyd (4,600)
Boys was the top value last weekend at the wide receiver position. We can project boyd for around 6 to 8 targets as the bengals slot receiver. The Atlanta Cincinnati game is the highest totaled game on the slate at 52 and the Bengals have a positive game script with an implied team total of 24.

Tight End

Eric Ebron (3,600)
With Jack Doyle once again ruled out Ebron is once again the cash game lock at tight end. While a case can be made for Gronkowski Ebron is going to be a candidate for 8-10 targets at (3,600) and is also a favorite of Andrew Luck’s in the Red Zone.

Defense

Chargers
The Chargers will likely be the most popular cash game defense. They are a 10.5 point favorite at home versus the 49ers who just lost starting Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo for the season and are starting C.J. Beathered. They have a positive gamescript and are a strong correlation play with running back Melvin Gordon. A case can be made to fade in tournaments and go up to Jacksonville but in cash I’ll likely eat the chalk.
