Free Agency and Injury report week 14 2020

Matthew Stafford, QB, DET

Stafford exited with a rib injury and did not return. Chase Daniel took over for him and managed just 29 passing yards on six attempts. The entire Lions offense gets a massive downgrade if Daniel is the starter for Week 15.

Brandon Allen, QB, CIN

Allen went down with a leg injury and did not return. Ryan Finley is his backup. Finley has two interceptions and no touchdowns on 17 pass attempts this year. He somehow looks like a below-average third-string quarterback when on the field. Tyler Boyd and tee Higgins could both be sent to the bench if Finley starts for the Bengals next week.

Noah Fant, TE, DEN

Fant exited versus the Panthers before seeing a target with a non-COVID illness. In lieu of Fant starting at tight end, Troy Fumagalli saw five targets. He caught four of those looks for 53 yards. Fumagalli went for more receiving yards today than he had in the rest of his two0year career combined so it's tough to see him as anything more than a deep dynasty stash.

Deebo Samuel, WR, SF

Samuel injured his hamstring against Washington and later reports have added that it may be season-ending. If including this game, Brandon Aiyuk has played in five games without Samuel in the lineup. In those games, he has averaged 22.5 fantasy points per game. Aiyuk will be one of the most-targeted receivers in the fantasy playoffs and could push for WR1 numbers.

DeVante Parker, WR, & Mike Gesicki, TE, MIA

Both Parker and Gesicki left with injuries in Week 14. Gesicki's was a shoulder injury that didn't look good as he left for the locker room. A trainer had to hold his arm, likely to remove the weight of his arm from his shoulder. Parker suffered a leg injury that kept him out for most of the game. Even slot receiver Jakeem Grant left with a leg injury.

Former Raiders RB Lynn Bowden led the team with seven receptions for 82 yards on nine targets. Mack Hollins also logged nine targets but only caught five for 66 yards. Bowden is the priority of the priority add but both are worth stashes in deeper leagues.
