Unfortunately, injuries are part of Football and pretty much every week, players go down. This week was no different. At times, some of the injuries are minor, while at others it can impact a player for multiple weeks, and even for the entire season.

Fantasy owners who lost players that are expected to miss significant time, adjustments need to be made, and the waiver wire will be your best friend.

With that said, let’s take a look at some of this week’s injuries and the impact of the injury.

Chris Ivory – Bills: Ivory exited Sunday’s game against the Bears with a shoulder injury and never returned. There have not been any updates on the severity of the injury or his status for this week. Marcus Murphy is behind Ivory on the depth chart, and would backup LeSean McCoy should Ivory miss any time.

Chris Carson – Seahawks: Carson exited Sunday’s game against the Chargers with an apparent thigh injury. He went into that game battling a hip injury, so this appears to be a new thing for him. He was seen with his leg wrapped up after exiting the game. It is uncertain how severe the injury is at this time, but I would consider him questionable for their upcoming game against the Rams. Mike Davis could see a heavy workload should Carson miss the next game.

Raheem Mostert – 49ers: Mostert fractured his arm in Week 9 against the Raiders, ending his season. It was a not easy to watch and looked extremely painful. He is expected to undergo surgery and has been placed on the injured reserve. Matt Breida and Alfred Morris will man the backfield for San Francisco moving forward.
