Running Back

Duke Johnson Jr. $5,100 at Houston Texans
Johnson continues to produce quality numbers and despite only receiving three targets last week, he managed to have 63 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. He is averaging 6.2 targets per game, leading the team with 31 targets and account for 16 percent of the Browns target share. The Texans are a good run defense, but they have allowed three receiving touchdowns to opposing backs which ties the league’s most. The Browns are 10-point underdogs, so they should be chasing points, which should create plenty of reception opportunities for Johnson.

Javorius Allen $5,400 vs. Chicago Bears
Allen has played in 60 percent of the Ravens snaps, accounts for 15 percent of the Ravens target share, 12 percent of the red zone targets, and 56 percent of the red zone rushes. He faces off against a Bears defense that is no walk in the park, but does allow 90.2 rushing yards per game to opposing backs and has allowed one rushing touchdown in every single game this season. With Terrance West ruled out of this contest, Allen could see some extra opportunities increasing both his floor and ceiling potential in this matchup.

Wide Receiver

Adam Thielen $6,000 vs. Green Bay Packers
Thielen has eight or more targets in all but one game this season, leading the team in targets (40) and accounting for 24 percent of the target share for the Vikings. This week he has a very good matchup against the Packers, who have given up 59 receptions for 760 yards and five touchdowns to receivers through the first five weeks. He also draws a great matchup against Morgan Burnett, who Thielen has a 47 percent advantage rating against, per Pro Football Focus. This is a game where the Vikings could be playing catchup, so they may have to rely on the passing game a bit more, creating potential target opportunities.

Jamison Crowder $4,000 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Crowder has had a disappointing start to the season, catching 14-of-19 targets for 106 yards and no touchdowns, while averaging just 5.7 fantasy points per game. That said, coach Jay Gruden said that he wants to get Crowder more involved in the offense and potentially get him more targets. In addition to that piece of news, Crowder draws a favorable matchup against the 49ers who are giving up 13 receptions and 185 receiving yards per game to wide receivers, while yielding five touchdowns to the position. He is projected to line up against K'Waun Williams, a matchup he should exploit as he has a 41 percent advantage rating against, per Pro Football Focus. I would only play him in tournaments, because he does offer a low floor and remains a volatile option.

Tight End

George Kittle $3,400 at Washington Redskins
Kittle is coming off of his best game so far this season, catching 7-of-9 targets for 83 yards and one touchdown, while playing in 56 percent of the snaps. He draws a nice matchup this week against a Redskins defense that has allowed 100 receiving yards in all but one game to tight ends this season and has surrendered a touchdown in each of their last two games. He offers nice upside at a reasonable price and in a nice matchup, making him an intriguing tight end play this week.
