Miles Sanders will not make the trip to Washington and, due to a hamstring injury that had him listed as questionable, is out for Sunday’s opener against the Washington Football Team.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Sanders is progressing well, but the team wants to make sure he’s good to go for the long haul, so it’s keeping the big picture in mind with him.

Corey Clement, Boston Scott and Jason Huntley will be next men up with Sanders out.
