MINNESOTA VIKINGS UPDATE

lJEFFERSON, MATTISON BOTH LISTED AS QUESTIONABLE; WR AWAITS ACTIVATION

Following up on the ongoing story. ... The Vikings have been winning without wide receiver Justin Jefferson and it will be a little longer before we know if they will have him back for Sunday night’s game in Denver.

Jefferson has been listed as questionable to face the Broncos.

He remains on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury and the team will have to activate him by 4 p.m. ET Satirdau if he is going to play this weekend.

Running back Alexander Mattison is also questionable to play. Mattison is in the concussion protocol and has progressed to taking part in practice, so he could be cleared to return in time to play.

Cornerback Akayleb Evans (calf) and quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) have been ruled out.

Linebacker Brian Asamoah II (ankle), quarterback Nick Mullens (back), and guard Chris Reed (foot) are all listed as questionable.

Mullins also remains on IR and will need to be activated to be available as well. With Hall ruled out, that seems likely.

T.J. Hockenson (ribs) and K.J. Osborn (concussion) avoided injury designation.
