MINNESOTA VIKINGS UPDATE

lMATTISON GOES FROM NONPARTICIPANT TO LIMITED ON THURSDAY

Following up on a previous item. ... Running back Alexander Mattison is making progress in his recovery from a concussion.

Mattison did not practice at all on Wednesday, but the Vikings listed him as a limited participant on Thursday.

As Profootballtalk.com notes, Mattison still has more boxes to check in order to clear the concussion protocol in time to play this weekend, but getting on the practice squad moves him closer to that goal.

Wide receiver Justin Jefferson was also limited as he works his way back from the hamstring injury that’s kept him out of the last five games.

The team still hasn't decided if Jefferson will return to game action this week.

Linebacker Brian Asamoah II (ankle), tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs), and quarterback Nick Mullens (back) were also limited.

Quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) moved from limited to full participation.

That could put him on track to back up Josh Dobbs, who was listed as full with an ankle injury for the second straight day.

The same goes for K.J. Osborn (concussion), who worked fully for a second-staight day.
