Following up on this week's
Team Notes. ...
Jimmy Garoppolo was without his two favorite targets from the season opener for Wednesday's practice.
And a third receiver as well.
Jakobi Meyers -- who led the team with nine catches for 81 yards and a TD -- is in the concussion protocol, so his absence was not unexpected.
Davante Adams joined him on the sideline with a foot injury, as did
DeAndre Carter with a knee injury.
Adams recorded 66 yards on six receptions in Las Vegas' Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos.
Garoppolo himself was limited with an ankle injury he suffered in the game that didn't seem to hinder him. Or it certainly didn't on his game-sealing first down scramble.
I'll be watching for more on all involved closely; stay tuned for more. ...
Once again without
Chandler Jones was out for personal reasons as he decides whether he still wants to be on the team. And safety Tre'von Moehrig was out while dealing with a thumb injury.
If Jones doesn't return this week, he would once again be replaced by the combination of Malcolm Koonce and Tyree Wilson.
