Following up on
a previous item. ... According to Dallas Morning News staffer Michael Gehlken, receivers
Amari Cooper (quad/ankle) and
Randall Cobb (back) are not practicing today.
It's the second-straight day in which the two wideouts have been held out and it's a situation we'll all need to watch closely Friday.
Remember, Cobb missed last week's game with his injury while Cooper was limited to just a few snaps. Previous reports have suggested Cooper's ability to play agaqinst the Eagles on Sunday is in serious question.
I'll continued to watch for more -- and I'll certainly have more after tomorrow's practie.
Meanwhile, on a more positive note, the Cowboys got their starting tackles back on the practice field Thursday, but their line is still far from settled.
Via Gehlken, left tackle Tyron Smith and right tackle La’el Collins returned to practice on a limited basis.
Smith has missed the last two games with an ankle injury and Collins missed last week with a knee problem, and having one or both back for this week’s game against the Eagles would be a huge benefit.
Of course, the Cowboys didn’t have right guard Zack Martin or reserve center Joe Looney for practice, because it wouldn’t do for them to have any stability up front.
