Waiver Wire Targets Week 10 2017
By Armando Marsal

Quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick – Bucs: Jameis Winston is expected to miss a few weeks with a shoulder injury, which would force Fitzpatrick into the starting lineup. Luckily for Fitzpatrick, the Bucs have some favorable matchups in the upcoming weeks. They face off against the Jets, Falcons (twice), and Packers, all of which are vulnerable against the pass. Fitzpatrick is a volatile quarterback due to the amount of risks he takes throwing the football, but he has also proven that he can post solid numbers when he is on his game. This could be one of those weeks as he faces off against his former team this week in a favorable matchup and can be considered a streaming option.Others to consider: Teddy Bridgewater - Vikings
Running Back
Devontae Booker – Broncos: C.J. Anderson suffered an ankle injury that he was able to play through, but he has been disappointing this season, averaging 60.3 rushing yards per game and scoring just one rushing touchdown. Booker played one fewer snap than Anderson in Week 9, but did play more than Charles. Booker also has at least two receptions in four straight games and could start making a push for more playing time in the upcoming weeks. He is not a back you can comfortably start this week, but could be someone that helps you down the stretch.Dion Lewis - Patriots: Lewis is coming off of a bye week and prior to that he had at least 11 touches in each of his three previous games. He also played in at least 35 percent of the snaps during that stretch and it could be a sign of things to come. This is a backfield that is tough to predict and can change at any moment, but at this time Lewis has seen a consistent rise in production and playing time, which warrants a roster spot since he plays on one of the better offenses in the league.
Others to consider: Orleans Darkwa - Giants
Wide Receiver
Robert Woods – Rams: Woods leads the Rams in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. He has been quietly producing solid numbers for fantasy owners and is owned in just 26 percent of ESPN leagues. The Rams host the Texans in Week 10, a defense that is dealing with injuries and has been generous to wide receivers. He can be considered a WR3 in this matchup and a flex option in PPR formats moving forward considering his production this season.Robby Anderson – Jets: Anderson has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games and has scored double-digit fantasy points in four straight. He leads the Jets in targets and receiving yards, and is tied for most receptions and receiving touchdowns. He has been consistently producing for fantasy owners and can be considered a viable flex play on a weekly basis at this time. He is still available in 55 percent of ESPN leagues and that should not be the case. The Jets play the Bucs in Week 10, one of the worst pass defenses in the league.
Others to consider: Curtis Samuel – Panthers, Sterling Shepard – Giants, Marquise Goodwin - 49ers
Tight End
Julius Thomas – Dolphins: Thomas caught 6-of-8 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 for his best game of the season. While it is only one game, this could continue moving forward as the Dolphins will likely rely on these short passes to move the chains now that Jay Ajayi is no longer with the team. I am not expecting these type of numbers out of Thomas every week, but I would not be surprised if the targets came on a more consistent basis.Others to consider: C.J. Fiedorowicz – Texans (if he is activated)
